who: Loki + You
what: AU!Loki who fell to Earth instead of Thor + tdm prompts + w/e
when: June
where: Around
warnings: N/A so far, will change if necessary
[ i - for your au needs ]
[ A Loki that fell to Earth is a Loki that still enjoying living. Earth gave him opportunities to step away from Thor's shadow and be his own person. True, he wasn't much of a prince or a god as he drifts among mere mortals without a blink of an eye, but it is preferable to the treatment of the Nine Realms. When he awoke, changed by the chalice, Loki was smart enough not to panic even as the doubts crept in. Instead, he devoted himself to the work. He weaved in and out of the Gramayre Institute, the Communal Housing and wanders around Riverview. His manner is polite if not a little distant. His clothes range towards more casual shirts and slacks, and his hair is much shorter.
You might also spot him sitting near the fountain, casting small illusions for the group of children nearby, of green dragons and golden heroes or at the market, eyeing their selection of jeweled daggers. ]
[ ii - can you feel the love tonight? ]
[ Loki can deflect magic and bullets with ease. His physical prowess is nothing to scoff at, despite his slighter frame. So when the repellent drifts over, Loki was certainly not prepared to fight the very air itself. By the time he realized what had happened, it was too late. He had inhaled it too sharply and felt his limbs loosen. The tension that's always hung over him like a heavy aura has all but dissipated and Loki is all twinkling smiles and calm demeanor. You might have bumped into him accidentally as he stands there and he turns, contrite. ]
My apologies.

Angela wanders closer to watch, crossing her one arm over her body. ]

Loki pats the space next to him with a faint grin. ]
It seems I have not lost my touch, despite leaving Asgard.
no subject
You've never mentioned leaving Asgard before. [ Granted, there is so much she doesn't know about this version of her sometimes-brother. It's no surprise that bits of his story were left out. ]
no subject
I am a little changed at the moment. I cannot speak for what I once was in this place.
[ He's smart enough to pick up the threads, to know what affects him. He's not so smart to look too deeply into the going ons of the person that lingered here before. Self-awareness is not his forte. ]
But I was cast out.
no subject
Why were you cast out? [ Asked without consideration as to whether this might be a sensitive topic. ]

For now, he watches the same show as the children. He has a bag over his shoulder with the shopping he was doing but it can wait. He wants to see more of this. ]
no subject
The children seem pleased at least and Loki has attracted a crowd. He glances at the man watching curiously. ]
Is there something you wished to see?
no subject
There's something there. ]
Um... horses?
[ Not nearly as impressive, but perhaps just as majestic. ]

I. Fountain
Do you think they could be friends?
[ The green dragons and the golden heroes, that is. It quickly becomes a popular question for the inherent curiosity of children, some of who ask the same or start a small burst of childish discourse between themselves for a moment. Of course, the children seem to have a better idea of what the green creatures are to begin with whereas Lí's best guess is some sort of alien lizard. She is quite earnest about her inquiry, though, with no ulterior motive to speak of in putting the question forward. Really, though, could they? ]
no subject
It's an . . . unpleasant thought. ]
I suppose it is possible.
no subject
I'd like to think so. One of my fondest friends I'd have called the most unlikely for our people's differences had I even thought it possible. Maybe they'd do just as well.
no subject

time is made up and the points don't matter (ii)
Right now, he's aiming for dinner and several drinks, though he hasn't decided his destination yet, so he's eyeing restaurants along the street when he feels someone bump into him. And despite how tense things are at the moment, he likes Loki enough to brighten with a smile, upon realizing just who he's run into.]
Don't even sweat it. [It's the relaxed demeanor that Taako notices first, but the shorter hair is clocked about a second afterwards.] This shit got you too, huh?
[Like an elf, or like Cain, Taako has a feeling that physical appearance isn't going to give much away about age, when it comes to Loki, so he has no clue if this version of him is younger or older or something completely different. But he can roll with it.]
no subject
[ Loki feels oddly self-conscious. He's never been the center of attention, unless it's negative and as such, he can't help squirming just a little. Still his demeanor is not wary. ]
My apologies. I do not recall your name.
no subject
[Some people seem to remember more than others, so he hadn't really thought about it too much, but the fact that Loki doesn't know him isn't the worst thing that's happened.
Mostly because he has to believe this will all go back to normal soon.]
We're like... friends? I think?
[Loki can be hard to read.]
no subject
Not Thor's friend? I've never been particularly . . . amicable to most.

[ CLOSED TO IVAR ]
Loki thought of everything. So now he waits. Hopefully, it won't be long since Loki despises waiting for anyone.
no subject
Loki might recognize some of the runes on the axe. It's a summoning spell for Loki, not the one before him, but the one that Ivar rooms with. A gift he'd been given so that his distant cousin could keep an eye on him and come to his aid if necessary.]
So. Shall we get started?
no subject
We may. But first.
[ Loki eyes the wheelchair openly. ]
What happened to you?
no subject
His eyes are icy cold as he speaks. There's just a barely contained note of fury in his voice. It's not directed at Loki, more at just his circumstances in general.]
They've been useless since I was born. [Some thought he had been wounded in battle. At least that would have been an honorable way to end up crippled.]

tosses this here if thats cool!!
As soon as he sees Loki, he flashes him a grin, holding up the bottle like it's a prize.]
Real talk, does this shit even effect you?
[It literally just occurred to him.]
totally!!
[ It doesn't even dent him. While Loki is not Asgardian, he still possesses many of their traits. For all he knows, he may be part Aesir. Not that Loki will ever know. His fingers clench silently, tendrils of gold and green light curling around them like miniature serpents. He hasn't felt this out of sorts since the death of the Queen.
He glances at Taako, taking him in before raising an eyebrow at his clothing. ]
no subject
[His aim here is to pretend like everything is totally cool, since he figures neither of them want to have a fucking heart to heart.]
Well, more for Taako. [He's almost about to offer Loki the cookies, at least, before he notices the look he's getting and pauses.] What?
no subject
[ Says Loki who may or may not have kept the oversized grey hoodie Thor got him once. Maybe. The world will never know. ]
