[ A Loki that fell to Earth is a Loki that still enjoying living. Earth gave him opportunities to step away from Thor's shadow and be his own person. True, he wasn't much of a prince or a god as he drifts among mere mortals without a blink of an eye, but it is preferable to the treatment of the Nine Realms. When he awoke, changed by the chalice, Loki was smart enough not to panic even as the doubts crept in. Instead, he devoted himself to the work. He weaved in and out of the Gramayre Institute, the Communal Housing and wanders around Riverview. His manner is polite if not a little distant. His clothes range towards more casual shirts and slacks, and his hair is much shorter.

You might also spot him sitting near the fountain, casting small illusions for the group of children nearby, of green dragons and golden heroes or at the market, eyeing their selection of jeweled daggers. ]

[ ii - can you feel the love tonight? ]

[ Loki can deflect magic and bullets with ease. His physical prowess is nothing to scoff at, despite his slighter frame. So when the repellent drifts over, Loki was certainly not prepared to fight the very air itself. By the time he realized what had happened, it was too late. He had inhaled it too sharply and felt his limbs loosen. The tension that's always hung over him like a heavy aura has all but dissipated and Loki is all twinkling smiles and calm demeanor. You might have bumped into him accidentally as he stands there and he turns, contrite. ]

You know what I wonder, how this place handles slang when it's translating shit. [This is a Tangent, sorry Loki.] Cause there's a lotta people here, does it try to find the closest equivalent or go with as direct a translation as possible?

[Loki isn't going to know the answer and he doesn't expect him to, he's just curious.]

A spell that lingers in the blood. Or in the magic we taste. The logistics of it has never been clear. I have a few, ah, additions most Asgardians don't have.

Huh... [He seems to consider that for a second, though the "I have a few additions" doesn't raise any particular flags, and he's not going to poke too heavily into Loki's business.] I'm gonna guess that shit can't be taught?

I suppose that's true. Though it meant all avenues of history, literature and art were easily accessible from all worlds. There is something to be said for skipping the stairs to reach your destination.
