who: Loki + You
what: AU!Loki who fell to Earth instead of Thor + tdm prompts + w/e
when: June
where: Around
warnings: N/A so far, will change if necessary

[ i - for your au needs ]

[ A Loki that fell to Earth is a Loki that still enjoying living. Earth gave him opportunities to step away from Thor's shadow and be his own person. True, he wasn't much of a prince or a god as he drifts among mere mortals without a blink of an eye, but it is preferable to the treatment of the Nine Realms. When he awoke, changed by the chalice, Loki was smart enough not to panic even as the doubts crept in. Instead, he devoted himself to the work. He weaved in and out of the Gramayre Institute, the Communal Housing and wanders around Riverview. His manner is polite if not a little distant. His clothes range towards more casual shirts and slacks, and his hair is much shorter.

You might also spot him sitting near the fountain, casting small illusions for the group of children nearby, of green dragons and golden heroes or at the market, eyeing their selection of jeweled daggers. ]

[ ii - can you feel the love tonight? ]

[ Loki can deflect magic and bullets with ease. His physical prowess is nothing to scoff at, despite his slighter frame. So when the repellent drifts over, Loki was certainly not prepared to fight the very air itself. By the time he realized what had happened, it was too late. He had inhaled it too sharply and felt his limbs loosen. The tension that's always hung over him like a heavy aura has all but dissipated and Loki is all twinkling smiles and calm demeanor. You might have bumped into him accidentally as he stands there and he turns, contrite. ]

My apologies.

That you scoured the worlds for them in the company of a brother sounds to me like it might lend itself to some worthy adventure. Anyone who could surely has a hundred tales, at least.

[ If that doesn't see her pause a moment, curious and delighted all at once for his choice of words. She'd be willing to bet a sum that he could expertly tell some of the most magnificent stories. Quite a feeling to invoke with a few lines some might say, but she's always been inclined to trust that sort of feeling. ]

I could not but that you stand before me. If I may ask, who are you?

[ She doubts it will be a name she knows or recognizes, but it seems to her that his would be a good name to know all the same and one that she'd be glad to know. ]

[ Now there is a name Líadan hadn't been expecting to hear and it's plain on her face, her recognition. What follows is a smile and an honest one offered so much as an inkling of fear or apprehension. There is curiosity in her eyes, however, and perhaps more than a bit of wonderment. ]

Your name is known to me. I think, however, that it is better to go forego presumptions in a place such as this.

[ Having met another Loki and considered the possibilities of there being many across the various different realities, it seems right to her. They may share a name, but they themselves are different people who have lived different lives and written different stories and that is something worth respecting. ]

Well met, Loki. I am Líadan Ní Donnabháin. [ And she inclines her head just so. ]

I have roughly a handful from which to choose, I'm afraid. Vafþrúðnir had only just begin to recount to me his people's tales of the missing gods when I found myself in the Quarantine.

[ And if she sounds disappointed, that's because she is. Vafþrúðnir is a magnificent storyteller, after all, and he'd worked her curiosity well during and between visits. If only his kingly duties didn't take up all so much time... ]

[ She nods in agreement and in affirmation of his question. ]

Missing gods, yes. I cannot say I am entirely certain how or when they came to be missing as we had not progressed that far in his account of the gods. According to Vafþrúðnir, it has been long enough that most Nemedians have forgotten them while we know others. He seemed... troubled about that.

I could not say. Do gods rely so much upon faith in living their lives?

Even if we Nemedians did forget those gods, the Etan remember them well and are a people of great conviction. I do not imagine they would waiver in their faith.
