Log: Gonna make a comeback this time.
who: Jason Todd
what: Just a batboy out being his hot mess self.
when:the 6th-20th.
where: Around the Quarantine.
warnings: Violence, and language will update with more.
A: Communal housing & Garage
The last thing Jason had expected upon getting home from work and showering was the sound of the front door. After a quick conversation with another member of the Parameter Guard and a familiar set of keys shoved in his hands, Jason ran down to the elevator without bothering with a shirt or shoes. When he saw the red and chrome machine he couldn't help but smile. He had been saving since he arrived to try and buy a motorcycle even close to this one. And it had it's own little reserved spot. Like it belonged here as much as him. He smiled, almost cheeky, the way he had so often as a boy before pocketing the keys and making his way back inside and up to finish getting dressed.
Jason found his way back down to the motorcycle once he was done with his normal afternoon busy work. Slipping on he just sat there and let the engine idle a bit. He had missed his bike. He sat there awhile before slipping off to look over each part to make sure everything was as It should be.
An hour or so later, he tore out into the night speeding.
B: Trixie
A few nights after the fight at the sleazy bar, Jason made his way to Trixie, after all, it was the best place to go when he missed his replacement, not that he would ever in any life admit that. Plus Loki was still there, and he hadn't gone to see the guy in awhile. Friendship, or whatever it was, was a two-way street. He gave a nod to the bouncer on his way in, if it was Nico a moment was spared to talk to his creepy friend.
After making his way inside he didn't go to the VIP but to the bar proper to sit and do his usual taking in of people around him. A book opened on the counter as he quietly read. He would go hunt Loki down soon but a chapter or two at the bar while he nursed a beer wasn't a big deal it would kill time.
C: Floor Six
It was pushing three am when the window near Jay's room slid back open. He always vanished around ten or eleven, stepping in he yanked the bag over his shoulder and he looked around at his roommates, if they were asleep or not. His jacket was zipped up as he made his way right to the bathroom. He made quick work of disarming the taser in his body armor and pulling it off in chunks. Each part he hides hidden in his bag as he made his way back out. The bag shoved in the trunk as he shed his pants and grabbed the red cloak up wrapping it around himself as he headed into the kitchen in just the boxers and cape. Making himself a bowl of cereal and moving to sit down at the TV.
D: Random Club
It was a Saturday night, and while he should be out patrolling, or god knows what else. He opted instead to shake off his loneliness by going to one of the clubs. He had even dressed the part, and styled his hair pretty neat, which wouldn't last if he actually danced with anyone. He hadn't told his roommates where he went, he never does after all. Once he got in, he went to the bar and had a couple drinks to start the night off. As the night went on, he eventually made his way to the floor.
He was feeling better as the night went on. Dancing with different people, and just generally pretending to be someone else. Jason Todd had a night off, so, he was trying to be like any other twenty three year old on a Saturday night. He wasn't looking for anyone to take home, just for a few minutes of unattached fun to the thumping club music.

Well, tell me about this thing, or person. Shockingly, I'm a good listener.

[ Knocking back his water, he leans over the bar to pour himself another from the tap. ]
no subject
[ He asked, his attentions still on the trickster. ]
no subject
He glances at Jason then away to the rest of the club, feeling that acute stare. It's not the first time he's been reminded that Jason is not some normal nobody off the street with an attention span so keen as that. ]
I would prefer that he woke up, when all is said and done.
no subject
He nodded some, folding his arms over his chest.]
You should go visit him then. Even it's bothering you right? So, go see him, see how you feel.
no subject
Loki shrugs and peers at Jason. ]
He didn't like me much, before. We argued. Is there any point beating myself up over someone who didn't even trust me to touch him?
no subject
Like he suspects Loki and this guy are. And yet, it's the best he can grasp at. God forbid he use his family ties to weigh it.]
If you've gone numerous times, than clearly he is important to you. Maybe ignore how he feels for now and just be there. Be one of, if not the first person he sees when he wakes up. Maybe he likes you more than he admit's, some guys push people away to keep themselves safe even when they want nothing more than to have the other around. Its easier to push people away and be alone, than to open your heart and risk being hurt.
no subject
No need to be so wise. You could just say, 'Nah, you can do better', and I'd take it.
no subject
Nah, you can do better than me, no lie there. But, I'm always here for you, man, for whatever. My body or mind.
[ Loki blew his mind once, he didn't mind offering himself even while trying to tell him to go get what he wants. ]
no subject
Will you dance with me? No one else has asked me yet and the club has been here a few months. I'd like to.
[ He offers a hand over the bar, wiggling his fingers. ]
I promise your book will be safe behind the bar.
no subject
Well, then let me do it properly. May I have this dance, Loki?
[ He asked, doing his best to sound as charming as he could, slipping off the bar stool.]
no subject
Manners may not count for much in the dark downstairs.
[ But Loki appreciates them as he leads Jason to the staircase that descends into the basement, the dampening wards that keep the music from travelling into the bar easing up as the world becomes a murky mess beneath the ground-floor lounge. He keeps hold of Jason, tugging him into the middle of the crowd. ]
no subject
Isn't that how it always is? Besides, the manners are just to charm you.
[ He replied with a wink as he followed Loki along. He had never ventured downstairs before. Only ever in the bar proper. Jason's hold on Loki's hand only tightened as they moved through the crowd towards the middle. The outside world didn't matter in places like this. Just the music and the person in his grasp. Once reaching the middle, Jason let the beat of the music wash over moved to dance smoothly with Loki. ]

[ Loki drapes an arm around Jason's neck, placing a hand on his chest as he draws in to dance with him. The music has an easy beat that his hips snag with a sway to match his partner's and the godling rests his temple by an ear, tension seeping out of his body. ]
no subject
[ He replied low, half hoping the music made it harder to hear. His hands moved down to rest on Loki's hips, moving in that calm sway to the beat of the music. Something peaceful and easy in the movements, almost tender in the dance. Something that he worried about breaking. ]

Aren't you dating anyone in the Quarantine? You'd make one Hel of a boyfriend. I can sing your praises to any crushes you might have ...
no subject
No, no I'm not, I don't intend to. I've done that song and dance, Loki, and let me be the first to admit, I'm no good at it.
[ He thinks of Isabel breaking up with him, and himself walking away from his partnership with Roy. He was just bad with people. At least in his own mind.]
no subject
[ This right here isn't dating but it certainly feels like more than being DTF. How hard is it for someone as personable as Jason to make friends? ]
no subject
no subject
[ Tickling the hairs at the nape of Jason's neck, Loki chuckles. ]
no subject
[ He couldn't help a little shiver at the tickling of the hair. A smile offered down.]
I still cant walk in that leather shop without blushing.
no subject
I'm glad we met, Jason. Twice, even. I've liked you in every incarnation so far, I wonder if I'd like you in every universe.
no subject
Same here, you've definitely been a bright spot here for me. I'm sure no matter what universe we'd meet I think were destined to be whatever brand of friends we are. I'll be whatever you need me to be, Lokes, just never expect to much out of me. That's how I lose people.
no subject
[ One of his fingers trails along Jason's jaw, thoughfully tapping his lips. He tries not to feel too weak when it comes to hearing his nickname coming out so easily like that, unbidden and warm. ]
I expect you to tell me if we ever need to talk, to listen to me as I would to you. Nothing more.
no subject
[ He replied easily playfully kissing Loki's finger after it tapped his lips, then an unsure look crossed his face.]
I'll do my best, but when I lose my temper I do dumb shit. So, just take me as I am I guess. I'm gonna fuck up, that's just who I am. But, I'll always be here in my own way.
