Log: Gonna make a comeback this time.
who: Jason Todd
what: Just a batboy out being his hot mess self.
when:the 6th-20th.
where: Around the Quarantine.
warnings: Violence, and language will update with more.
A: Communal housing & Garage
The last thing Jason had expected upon getting home from work and showering was the sound of the front door. After a quick conversation with another member of the Parameter Guard and a familiar set of keys shoved in his hands, Jason ran down to the elevator without bothering with a shirt or shoes. When he saw the red and chrome machine he couldn't help but smile. He had been saving since he arrived to try and buy a motorcycle even close to this one. And it had it's own little reserved spot. Like it belonged here as much as him. He smiled, almost cheeky, the way he had so often as a boy before pocketing the keys and making his way back inside and up to finish getting dressed.
Jason found his way back down to the motorcycle once he was done with his normal afternoon busy work. Slipping on he just sat there and let the engine idle a bit. He had missed his bike. He sat there awhile before slipping off to look over each part to make sure everything was as It should be.
An hour or so later, he tore out into the night speeding.
B: Trixie
A few nights after the fight at the sleazy bar, Jason made his way to Trixie, after all, it was the best place to go when he missed his replacement, not that he would ever in any life admit that. Plus Loki was still there, and he hadn't gone to see the guy in awhile. Friendship, or whatever it was, was a two-way street. He gave a nod to the bouncer on his way in, if it was Nico a moment was spared to talk to his creepy friend.
After making his way inside he didn't go to the VIP but to the bar proper to sit and do his usual taking in of people around him. A book opened on the counter as he quietly read. He would go hunt Loki down soon but a chapter or two at the bar while he nursed a beer wasn't a big deal it would kill time.
C: Floor Six
It was pushing three am when the window near Jay's room slid back open. He always vanished around ten or eleven, stepping in he yanked the bag over his shoulder and he looked around at his roommates, if they were asleep or not. His jacket was zipped up as he made his way right to the bathroom. He made quick work of disarming the taser in his body armor and pulling it off in chunks. Each part he hides hidden in his bag as he made his way back out. The bag shoved in the trunk as he shed his pants and grabbed the red cloak up wrapping it around himself as he headed into the kitchen in just the boxers and cape. Making himself a bowl of cereal and moving to sit down at the TV.
D: Random Club
It was a Saturday night, and while he should be out patrolling, or god knows what else. He opted instead to shake off his loneliness by going to one of the clubs. He had even dressed the part, and styled his hair pretty neat, which wouldn't last if he actually danced with anyone. He hadn't told his roommates where he went, he never does after all. Once he got in, he went to the bar and had a couple drinks to start the night off. As the night went on, he eventually made his way to the floor.
He was feeling better as the night went on. Dancing with different people, and just generally pretending to be someone else. Jason Todd had a night off, so, he was trying to be like any other twenty three year old on a Saturday night. He wasn't looking for anyone to take home, just for a few minutes of unattached fun to the thumping club music.

Came back from where?
no subject
From the dead, six feet under? I seriously never told you? Well other me.
no subject
[ He squints at Jason. ]
That's why Nico sensed something odd about you, you died and ... How did you come back?
no subject
[ He blinks a bit, making a worried face.]
Nico talked to you about me? And I can't really answer that, I don't remember much of it before Talia shoved me in the pit. I have bits and flashes but nothing really solid or tangible.
no subject
[ Poking Jason in the chest, ] What pit?
no subject
[ there's a mischievous smirk a second before Jason flops back on his back after the poke.]
The Lazarus Pit, it's a well, pit with healing waters it keeps Talias father Ra's alive, he's like six centuries old. He's the only one allowed to step in the waters. Needless to say, old Ra's doesn't like me for that reason above a few others.
no subject
But you mentioned you had bits and pieces floating around your head before the pit, so ... what were you prior to your impromptu swim?
no subject
Jason was quiet a long moment after the question almost thinking about pretending he hadn't heard it. ]
I remember waking up in the coffin. The darkness, the lack of airesponse, I remember pain, a lot of pain. Bright lights and just flashes like I said, people walking rain. Sitting in a dark room... something on a Cliffside with Talia. I remember her hair. But I was heavily brain damaged, if she hadn't put me in the pit I would have remained in a state of walking death.
[ He took a breath and looked to Loki.]
Please don't pull a Bruce and try to force it out of me. I don't remember, and honestly I don't want to.
no subject
Reaching out, he touches Jason's face with gentle fingers that run along his jawline and scoots closer so as to tangle their legs. ]
You've said more than enough. Thank you. I'm just glad you're back at all and that I get to have you here, with me. My crimson songbird.
no subject
He closes his eyes taking in the comforting feel. Something he doesn't usually have in these kinds of moments so he sinks into it, relaxing as Loki scooted closer. ]
I don't know, you might have liked me betterror back when I was young and happier. But, I'm glad to have you in my life, Loki. But, I have to ask, why Songird? I get the crimson.
no subject
[ He twists around, wriggling to coax Jason into being his big spoon. ]
During the day there's too much noise, but when evening comes they pipe up and fill the silence with lullabies for children and adults alike.
no subject
It didn't take much coaxing, Jason curled with him, dropping one of those arms around Loki's midsection to keep him close.]
Alright, I guess that's fine, but your the only one allowed. Don't let anyone else hear that.
no subject
[ Settling an arm around the one encircling his waist, he closes his eyes and snuggles into the pillows. ]
Goodnight, Jason.
no subject
[ Jason snuggled into him, though it took a little while to eventually slip to sleep. Jason wasn't one to roll or toss and turn a lot until the bad dreams start to get to him.
Luckily for the second time with Loki, he didn't have the worst of his dreams, but he didn't escape the night terrors completely. It was nearly dawn when he did start to breath quicker, stiffening in his sleep. ]

A safe, strong place to rest, full of sunshine and cheer. ]

Such beauty was from books, or travels, not normally something his mind would conjure at night but it was welcomed and lovely. And enough to return him to peaceful slumber. ]
