Log: Gonna make a comeback this time.
who: Jason Todd
what: Just a batboy out being his hot mess self.
when:the 6th-20th.
where: Around the Quarantine.
warnings: Violence, and language will update with more.
A: Communal housing & Garage
The last thing Jason had expected upon getting home from work and showering was the sound of the front door. After a quick conversation with another member of the Parameter Guard and a familiar set of keys shoved in his hands, Jason ran down to the elevator without bothering with a shirt or shoes. When he saw the red and chrome machine he couldn't help but smile. He had been saving since he arrived to try and buy a motorcycle even close to this one. And it had it's own little reserved spot. Like it belonged here as much as him. He smiled, almost cheeky, the way he had so often as a boy before pocketing the keys and making his way back inside and up to finish getting dressed.
Jason found his way back down to the motorcycle once he was done with his normal afternoon busy work. Slipping on he just sat there and let the engine idle a bit. He had missed his bike. He sat there awhile before slipping off to look over each part to make sure everything was as It should be.
An hour or so later, he tore out into the night speeding.
B: Trixie
A few nights after the fight at the sleazy bar, Jason made his way to Trixie, after all, it was the best place to go when he missed his replacement, not that he would ever in any life admit that. Plus Loki was still there, and he hadn't gone to see the guy in awhile. Friendship, or whatever it was, was a two-way street. He gave a nod to the bouncer on his way in, if it was Nico a moment was spared to talk to his creepy friend.
After making his way inside he didn't go to the VIP but to the bar proper to sit and do his usual taking in of people around him. A book opened on the counter as he quietly read. He would go hunt Loki down soon but a chapter or two at the bar while he nursed a beer wasn't a big deal it would kill time.
C: Floor Six
It was pushing three am when the window near Jay's room slid back open. He always vanished around ten or eleven, stepping in he yanked the bag over his shoulder and he looked around at his roommates, if they were asleep or not. His jacket was zipped up as he made his way right to the bathroom. He made quick work of disarming the taser in his body armor and pulling it off in chunks. Each part he hides hidden in his bag as he made his way back out. The bag shoved in the trunk as he shed his pants and grabbed the red cloak up wrapping it around himself as he headed into the kitchen in just the boxers and cape. Making himself a bowl of cereal and moving to sit down at the TV.
D: Random Club
It was a Saturday night, and while he should be out patrolling, or god knows what else. He opted instead to shake off his loneliness by going to one of the clubs. He had even dressed the part, and styled his hair pretty neat, which wouldn't last if he actually danced with anyone. He hadn't told his roommates where he went, he never does after all. Once he got in, he went to the bar and had a couple drinks to start the night off. As the night went on, he eventually made his way to the floor.
He was feeling better as the night went on. Dancing with different people, and just generally pretending to be someone else. Jason Todd had a night off, so, he was trying to be like any other twenty three year old on a Saturday night. He wasn't looking for anyone to take home, just for a few minutes of unattached fun to the thumping club music.

Loki, however, he was learning was someone his body just reacted for. Something almost kindred in the trickster. Those strong arms pulling him more against his body as he tilted his head a bit to try and catch Loki's bottom lip after one of the nips, but the tug of his hair got a low pleased noise from him. ]

I don't mean to be a tease.
[ This was a spontaneous desire, all the more inviting for how naturally it came upon him. Muttering around Jason's mouth, Loki tries to catch his eye. ]
You're so ... easy to be with. [ Hurriedly, he amends, ] In a good way.
no subject
A chuckle came from deep within him as he tried to fight the grin forming so he can kiss Loki again.]
Don't worry 'bout it. I'm not offended. [ Nothing a shower can't fix. the thought rattled in his mind. ]
no subject
[ Not that he stops meeting Jason's kisses or doesn't lick his way into the heat of his mouth, it just ... bears saying. Black nails rake down Jason's neck and chest as Loki cleaves to him in the basement with its whirling lights, swaying with the crowd yet staying close enough to stand thigh-to-thigh, letting no one separate them. ]
I mean that I, ah, I miss the man I broke up with. That's all.
no subject
[ He slipped in between kisses and nips. At least until the last bit was spoken. He still danced, still hitched his breath when the nails raked just right. But, the conscious he tries to pretend he doesn't have screamed at that. He lifted his head just a bit, which was the hardest thing at the moment, those eyes looking at Loki torn between the growing lust and the truth of a hurting friend. ]
Fuck this place, come on, let's go outside, I need a smoke. You can tell me what happened.
[ Was he really craving a cigarette? No, but it was a good out to get the other somewhere quieter to talk. Break up's sucked, he was still hurting from his a little over a year later.]

[ As he steps back and slides his hand into Jason's, Loki feels the lust dissipate with the newfound distance but the affection remain because this is what a friend does, he knows. Like Jason, they use their brain instead of ... Well, other well-endowed things.
On the street upstairs the air is chilly for mortals and in the neon green glow of Trixie's sign is where Loki stands, slipping out his phone for something to do. ]
Sorry about that.

[ He replied, though he would never get used to the teleporting or whatever it was that Loki and Nico do. He stepped back to lean against the wall, just a bit of distance as he pulled out the half empty pack from his jacket, and the lighter from his front pants pocket.
He lit up and slipped the lighter away before offering his hand over. Worried that if he completely broke away it might feel like complete rejection.]
Talk to me, tell me about the guy, do I need to break his nose for you? I will. [ he spoke around the cigarette.]
no subject
[ Slumping next to Jason on the wall, Loki winds his hand through the offered one. ]
He doesn't need his nose breaking while he's in a coma, that may be overkill. It just so happens he's in love with one of his fellow heroes, not me.

[ Tony Stark, he knew the name. He'd talked to one when he first arrived but never called him back, Jason was so bad about calling people back. He had been told Tony was probably the only person who could repair his helmet, but another time.
He squeezed Loki's fingers with his own, blowing out smoke away from Loki, to not be completely rude.]
I'm not above it. You say the word and I'll do it. [ He added to try and ease the air.] But, that's not cool of him. I mean you can't control who you love, but unless it just grew he should have told you.
no subject
[ With a shrug he tips his head to rest sideways on Jason's shoulder, squeezing his hand. ]
I wasn't honest either, fooling around with other people since we weren't exclusive ... but as soon as I wanted to be, everything we had was suddenly falling through my fingers like sand. Perhaps people like us aren't meant to have a happy ending. Never a simple one, anyway.
no subject
[ Jason turned his head just a bit to put a kiss on Loki's forehead.]
You can't really hold that against yourself, I mean, if it didn't work out you'd want to have the other options. I see the logic there.
Oh god you sound like B. Don't give up hope, your happy ending's out there. You just haven't found it yet. [ He felt sappy saying it, when in truth, he really believed what Loki was saying. There was no real happy endings. But, if he gave up what little hope he had he might end up like Bruce.]
no subject
[ The forehead kiss surprises him, blinking widely across the road. Acutely aware of the heat Jason's hand emits in his own. ]
Thanks, Disney.
no subject
[ Jason took another drag off the cigarette and rolled his eyes as he blew it back out, squeezing reassuringly once more. Jason put off a lot of heat in general, being a big guy.]
Oh, fuck Disney, I like classic fairy tales. You get your happy ending or you die. So, anyway, have you decided what your going to do?
no subject
Wait for him to wake up, have a talk about why he was afraid of me the last time we were alone, then ... I don't know.
[ Mostly, Loki wants Tony to just be okay whether they're a thing or not. ]
no subject
He was afraid of you? [ Even if he knew enough of Norse mythos to know Loki could be trouble he couldn't picture one of the mans lover's fearing him. Loki had been pretty much amazing every time he's spoken to him.] Well, if you need someone to talk to when, or if that happens call me. Any time. I don't sleep anyway.
[ He dropped the cigarette after a second crushing it out under his boot.]
no subject
His expression twists downward, guilt and confusion plain as day. ]
We were arguing. I sat on top of him ... maybe I was too strong or looked like I was mad, I don't remember. He told me to get off. All I know is that I scared him so much he couldn't bear to touch me.
no subject
Jason looks down at him, that look doesn't look right on him. ]
...That seems odd, but, I've scared a lot of people like that. [ But, The whole staff at Arkham agree he's insane so, he's not the best to judge against.] yeah, you should talk to him, clear the air and see what's what.
no subject
[ Resettling his head on Jason's shoulder he slithers inside the embrace of his arm to rest more comfortably, greedy to be held. ]
Why did you come by the club tonight?
no subject
[ He moved his arm a little more snuggly to hold Loki close. It was nice to hold someone against him. ]
I was hoping Tim would just appear. I had to tell Dick a few days ago that he's not only gone but dead back home. This place is all I know of him here. So, I came here.
no subject
[ That garners a return of the hug as Loki settles in, tucking his nose under Jason's chin. ]
I'll tell you first if Tim returns through the portal, I swear. He very well might.
no subject
Thank you, it means a lot. Hey, have you ever met Dick? I bet you'd like him.
[ He asked figuring he had if he was close to Timbers.]
no subject
Oh, you mean Nightwing?
[ Guess how subtle Dick has been. ]
no subject
Shit, Goldie gave up his secret identity? He must really like you.
no subject
[ It really was very sweet, like everything else about Dick. ]
I consider him a good friend.
no subject
[ Another kiss to Loki's forehead.]
Treat him right and he'll do anything in the world for you. That's just how he is. He hates the lies.
