[Taako thinks it a joke; Illya's got a dry sort of humor that reminds him of Lucretia, and that's the sort of thing she'd say.

[Illya relaxes when Taako confirms he was being truthful- but only for a split second, before the fact that Taako was flirting with him hits him. He truly isn’t sure how he’s supposed to react to that. He’s not stupid, and he pays attention: he’s talked to enough people by now to know the gender thing is not an issue, no matter what Illya had been taught. But he wouldn’t even know how to react if a woman flirted with him.
[Well, not the most fun reaction, but he's not going to belabour the point. Flirting is fun if there's a purpose to it, or if it gets a reaction, and since neither are there with Illya he doesn't see much point in pushing it.]

[He digs his phone out of a pocket and looks up Bryn's friendr, showing it to Illya.] If you're looking to head out beyond the fence, you got an idea for who to hit up, yeah? [Useful!] And then you've also got like, someone with no shit in theirs is probably super boring, it's good to know to avoid that.
[Illya’s used to people trying to get a rise out of him. He has his berserk buttons but Taako is obviously joking and trying to get a rise out of him, so he will do his best not to raise to the bait. Doesn’t make him any less obviously embarrassed.
He takes the phone, looking at Bryn’s picture and profile and frowning to himself.]

[While he's talking, Taako spends two seconds sending a stupid emote of some kind to Bryn, since he's got her friendr open he might as well be a little shit at her for a second.]
