"I don't think there's much point to it now." Keith would still be feeling bad whether he checked or not.
After a moment, Shiro was up again, walking down the hall. He wasn't gone that long, returning with a damp towel, putting that against the back of Keith's neck. It was cool so it should help him feel better.

"Man, this stinks..."

Shiro's roommates were probably used to him being around by now. Not only had he visited before, but since losing his memory, Shiro hadn't wanted the teen to be wandering around on his own. Losing three years of memories and finding himself in a strange place would have been difficult. So another day or so wouldn't hurt anything.

That was when he noticed Shiro.
"Shiro...?"

But when he heard his name, he opened his eyes.
"Hey. How are you feeling?"

"No problem. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Want to try getting something down? If you need it, you can take some more pain meds."
no subject
He shook his head a little.
"I'm alright as far as the headache goes," he said. "That's actually faded out a lot." It was still there, but really faint, and not enough to warrant taking anything else at this point. It was more annoying than actually painful. "But, yeah... I think I should probably try to eat something. It might help get rid of the rest of the weird feeling."
no subject
"All right. Let me know if you need something else for the headache." Since Keith was implying that it was still there. "Let me get you some more water and some toast. That may help."
Nothing exciting but if Keith was still ill, something light would be easier to keep down. Also he hadn't eaten for a good number of hours, having basically passed out and slept the entire evening so he wasn't at his best anyway.
Shiro got up, picking up Keith's glass and getting him some more ice water first before going back and getting him a couple pieces of toast.
no subject
"Yeah, it might. Probably better than anything else right now."
He rested his chin on his knees, wrapping his arms around his legs as he waited with his eyes closed. He wasn't outright sick anymore, but he was still feeling pretty crummy. Having something light would definitely be better. His stomach wasn't feeling great, and Keith couldn't really tell if he was legitimately nauseous and headachy or was just hungry at this point. It was better to play it safe.
He took the water when Shiro first came back, and drank it carefully. He was definitely thirsty, but he wanted to make sure he could keep it down. It seemed to work, so he accepted the toast as well, also being careful with that as he ate.

After he had brought out the toast, Shiro sat back down beside Keith, putting his hand on his shoulder. He could definitely see it in Keith's face that wasn't feeling like his normal self. Whether he was still tired, feeling ill, or it was an effect of not having eaten anything all night, it was hard to tell. If he felt better with toast, they could work up to something with more substance.
"Is it helping?"
no subject
"I think so," he said. Even though he was hungry, the lingering idea of feeling nauseous left his appetite a little lacking overall, so he had to somewhat force himself to eat. He did, though, knowing he was going to have to put his stomach to the test at some point. Not eating wasn't an option now that he knew he actually was hungry.

He could tell Keith wasn't very enthusiastic about eating, but it was better he try. If he was so hungry he felt sick, the only real option was try and eat.
"I'm going to grab something myself. Let me know if you want anything else."
Shiro got up, not going far as he went into the kitchen to make his coffee and get something to eat.
no subject
"Thanks."
He stayed quiet, continuing to eat slowly. He definitely wasn't back to normal, but he was improving, at least. Once he finished, he settled back on the couch again, and yawned, tempted to let himself doze off again.

Unsurprisingly, Floor 15 was not very popular with people. Whether people had vanished from the world or if they had decided the view didn't make up for the possibility of having to walk up 15 flights of stairs, there were empty beds now.

"It's okay. If you need to get more sleep, there's space in the bedroom if you want it. Want to see if there's anything amusing on TV just for something to do?"
no subject
"If you want."
He probably wouldn't pay much attention, but it was something. If it was boring enough, he might even doze off again, which wouldn't really be a terrible thing, either.
Don't mind him, Shiro. He wasn't feeling very decisive about anything at the moment.
