Shiro came back over with his own plate of toast and sat back down in the chair near Keith, seeing as the teen had laid back down. "Do you want to use one of the beds to get some more sleep?"

Unsurprisingly, Floor 15 was not very popular with people. Whether people had vanished from the world or if they had decided the view didn't make up for the possibility of having to walk up 15 flights of stairs, there were empty beds now.

Shiro didn't need an explanation really. He understood. He'd been in the situation before when you're not quite sick and not quite well and nothing seems like a good idea, not even the opposite of what you could be doing.

"It's okay. If you need to get more sleep, there's space in the bedroom if you want it. Want to see if there's anything amusing on TV just for something to do?"

Yeah, based on the response, Shiro guessed Keith was definitely in that phase of nothing sounds good so not going to complain either way about it.

Shiro did indeed turn the television on, trying to find something Keith might find vaguely amusing, but having the feeling the teen would probably not pay that much attention to it. Which was fine really. If he was still recovering, he needed to put his energy into that rather than whatever some frivolous television show was on.
