"Yes the dog 'just'." Said in an amused tone that Marinette might just find a bit familiar. It certainly brings to mind one pain in the ass magic hermit and not cute little floppy-eared beagles though!

But a beagle is what's peering up at her, head tilted slightly, ears perked as he waited to see just how she decided to react to this oddity.

That ... sounded -weirdly- familiar. But it was just a coincidence wasn't it? Still she shifted a little to crouch down closer to the Steagle, resting her hands on her knees, "Okay that I definitely didn't imagine. So either you actually did talk or there's a ventriloquist or something around here having a grand time.." She subtly scanned the area, suspicious.

"Actually now that I think of it, you even sound like a friend of mine." Oshit Steven, she said the F word. Go wash her mouth out with soup! "Haha, that's pretty weird." Cranky human man by day, cute and cuddly puppeh by night?

"Just zipped right past acquaintance to friend, hm? My grumpy disposition needs some work then, clearly I'm falling down on the job." And nope, no one around seeming to fit the 'ventriloquist' suspicion, not close enough to be heard that well if they were throwing their voice anyways.

Just the dog, who's currently plunked to sit and watch Marinette, ears flopping some as he tilted his head.

Blinkblink - and she suddenly recoils in surprise, "You're a dog??" WTF??? "How ..... were you -always- a dog? Were you a dog first and then a guy, or are you like a werewolf ..thing. I mean I already met a vampire here, but I didn't think I'd run into a werewolf--dog...uh.."
