A couple times, when I first arrived. There were monsters gathering at the outside perimeter that needed culling before they bore down upon it. I went with other volunteers to see them scared off or killed before they could do harm to others.

[The other time she'd fought against the creatures of this moon had been within the city walls, but it didn't seem necessary to speak about that when it had been a single occurrence. No reason to concern him unnecessarily.]

And they're right, no one should go out there alone who hasn't proven they can handle themselves, not just against the monsters but surviving in the wilderness as well.
