[He narrows his eye at that, but the condescending smirk doesn't leave his face.]

Ooh, you really got that scary cop routine down pat.

[This time he lets Eddie go, giving him a light shove and then a poke to the stomach as he jeers at him. If he really wants to play by the rules... well, that makes him much less dangerous, and Dodger intends to see exactly how long he'll keep up with this- well, what Dodger assumes is an act.]

And you're really gonna wait around until I've hurt someone, huh? You really wanna use that kid, or your boyfriend as bait? You're a sick man, Thawne.

[causational]

[Eddie keeps his face set, though it hurts when Dodger accuses him of using people for bait, calls him sick. In a way it is, it sucks, but there's no way around it. All that arresting Jamie Dodger would accomplish right now is keeping him off the street for a few hours until they decide there's not enough evidence to keep him, and he's released, even more pissed off and ready to do damage.]

That's not what I'm doing, and you know it.

[Leaning in, he holds Dodger's eyes, unwavering.]

I'm going to catch you in the act, and then you're gonna get put away, for a long time. And there's nothing you can do about it.

[And with that, he turns on his heel and walks away.]
