I think I've had plenty of positive looks for a while. At least from people who aren't you.

Mm, I've noticed. Making some friends around here. I do hope I'll never have to pull the jealous boyfriend card on anyone, though.

I was kidding! I know that, you silly. [ Tugging on Victor's collar. ] I feel the same. For the record.

You did far more than just saying it tonight, geliebte. I'm a little reluctant to go home and leave this, after all the work you put into it.

[ He did rent the place for the whole night, after all, and Lucy's staying with the sitter, so they can take as long as they want. ]

Good. You found a nice place. I feel like we could be anywhere. The Quarantine, Storybrooke, some garden at your academy... It's nice to imagine.
no subject
I don't really care where we are— as long as I get to be with you.
no subject
[Because he's being so sappy. HE KNOWS JOKES]
no subject
Oh— come on, [ He laughs, swatting a hand lightly at him. ] Now I don't know if I want a whole life with you, if you're gonna keep making lame jokes like that.

[ He does like Victor’s sense of humor, terrible jokes and all. ]
Mm, you could... sing to me. Or recite me a poem. Some kind of romantic gesture like that.
no subject
Which he very well might drag James into, though he still keeps them close enough to hear the words]
no subject
I don't know that one, [ He speaks quietly once Victor finishes, looking up and kissing him slowly. ] I love it.
no subject
[He cups the other man's face in his hands to return the kiss, letting their noses brush before pulling away. His fingers slid down, gently scratching the back of James's neck before going down farther and looping around his hips]
I'm curious: did you have a planned end to the evening?
no subject
Not really. Thought we could dance a little, maybe order some food here if we were hungry, set up an impromptu romantic picnic out here... Nothing beyond that. [ Raising an eyebrow. ] Why? Got any ideas?

While we're waiting, want to pick out constellations? [Stargazing is a pretty standard romantic moment, but why mess with a classic?]
no subject
[ Still, he shifts on the seat, lying down with his head resting on Victor's lap. This way he can get a nice view of the night sky— as well as the doctor himself, of course. ]

Mmm, those look like... a fish. And there— a boat? What can you see?
no subject
Hm. Yeah, I see the boat, too. And that could be a deer or a horse.
