You would think, owning her own place she wouldn't be bringing food out like any other waitress. But you'd be wrong, Lola's kinda hands on. She's giving a couple their meals before she turns and spots Jason. She's dressed in the standard work uniform here, dark pink shirt with black pants.

"Social call or are you actually just here for the food," Jason's habit of showing up to talk to her when she's working is not one that's gone unnoticed. She's smiling so she's mostly just being playful.

"I'm sure this has nothing to do with how obviously this place was made to be specifically mine or anything," Flattery was nice, but Lola knew between the portrait of her, the colors, and the overall aesthetic of the Cantina it was obviously a reflection on her. "But the plus side is my boss is way more forgiving than my last boss."

"You could just say you'd miss my cute smile and really spiffy bike." Still, she was smiling her cute smile, so she wasn't super mad at his game of excuses. "Oh! Sorta, I had to hire someone to help me learn how to keep books? Like, it's the one part of the Cantina I never got to do at home. But other than when he tells me no to something, I'm pretty much the boss."

Which surprisingly didn't bother her staff so much, but the city was full of all manner of nonsense children.

Cass noticed Jason and Lola pretty much as soon as she came through the door. She hadn't expected this to be the place, really; she recognized Lola at once from the festival picnic, and waved a little to them both.

She was wearing a black leather jacket, a yellow shirt and black jeans tucked into her boots. Easy, simple look. She pulled off her sunglasses and tucked them into her jacket pocket as she walked over to Jason's table.

"Hi."

"We've met, how are you doing today Cassandra," Lola's not sure if Cass is a Jason thing or an anyone can do it thing, and Lola usually defaults to what she's introduced with. She considers the new information, and suddenly has a thought. Turning her attention to Jason again.

"Is she more like you, your nerdy brother, or..." Lola makes a face like she just bit something super bitter, decides not to say anything about Damian at all, and move on without a word on that. She's trying to piece together exactly what family is for Jason, other than just really weird and violent, "How many siblings do you have anyway?"

Cass waves to Jason then nods to Lola, before answering them both. "Um, Cass is fine too. And... better than I was. Steph's here, so..." She nods, and she can't suppress the smile at the simple fact Steph was here and alive. It's nice. Easy. Cassandra laughs when Lola asks that, but rolls with it.

"I'm more like... our dad. Or our older brother," she begins, though she's noticed Damian seems to have a hell of a lot in common with her in terms of background and goals. "And, um, five of us. Right? Me, you, Dick, Tim, Damian..." There's a glance to Jason, on the off-chance his Bruce has even more adopted kids. She doesn't know Damian back home, but she knows they do have a Damian. Eventually. Thanks Tim.

"That's a lot of family," The concept of having that many siblings makes Lola a bit jealous. The same jealousy that Lola always feels when she's alone and everyone else isn't. Some perpetual cosmic joke at her expense. But then she realizes that includes Damian and he's awful. So maybe alone is better. "Adopted or not."

"I'm guessing the costumes, and the fighting, all things you all do," She did lower her voice a bit bringing this up. But she had to ask, trying to wrap her head around all that she's gotten. She'd never properly asked, but with how Damian acted, and how Jason acted, it seemed like a family business. Super weird, but... not awful. Except the bits of that 'Robin' costume she had from that one memory, that was kinda terrible.

Cass rolls her eyes at Jason, jabbing his side lightly with her elbow. "I don't count?" She's not used to joking about her past deaths, but if anybody would understand, it's Jason. Either way, she'll spare Lola context for what she's talking about. She nods in response to the first part of Lola's statement, not really sure what to say there. "Not... really adopted. Back home. But he's, um. Still my father." Better than her biodad, at least.

A nod again. "I was Batgirl. Second one. Jason," she starts, voice low, bumping his shoulder for emphasis. "Tim, Steph, Damian--all Robins. Were, are, or... will be." Cassandra starts, lowering her voice. "I'm... supposed to be the oldest. Out of, um, the ones here. Jason's older, in... his world. Don't know why." Then again, she's gotten the impression that universe differences aside, she's relatively behind, as far as their timelines go.

"Complicated history and a lot of violence?" Lola offered, maybe not helpfully, but she's got a little bit of leeway teasing Jason. Lola's hair fades a little, not quite as shiny as it was a few moments ago, "You take whatever family you have."

"If something doesn't make sense, I remind myself I'm standing on a moon in another reality from home, and I live with a viking and his adopted necromancer daughter. Whatever's going on suddenly seems like it almost makes sense." She didn't know the ins and outs of Cass or Jason's timeline, but as a general piece of advice it hadn't done her too much wrong. At least, her little bit of crazy advice caused her to perk up, if the shininess returning to her hair was anything to go on.
