"It's taken me a long time to come to grips with it, but I didn't come back right. Mostly everyone was a happy little family unit before I dug myself up." That bitterness shows as he lifts his coffee and takes a drink before shrugging. "But, were bound by something more than blood." He says. "Dick wasn't addopted offically either, but you and him are more B's kids than I ever will be." He added with another shrug.
"Maybe I don't like to think of the coolest of us also being part of the club." He added, before a almost sad look crossed his face at the mention of second Batgirl. He still had a lot of feelings about that to. After all, Babs was crippled months before his death. And yet the clown still lives. "It's been years for me. That's why. I'm from your future if even the same world. And yeah, Lo. thats the family business."
"Complicated history and a lot of violence?" Lola offered, maybe not helpfully, but she's got a little bit of leeway teasing Jason. Lola's hair fades a little, not quite as shiny as it was a few moments ago, "You take whatever family you have."
"If something doesn't make sense, I remind myself I'm standing on a moon in another reality from home, and I live with a viking and his adopted necromancer daughter. Whatever's going on suddenly seems like it almost makes sense." She didn't know the ins and outs of Cass or Jason's timeline, but as a general piece of advice it hadn't done her too much wrong. At least, her little bit of crazy advice caused her to perk up, if the shininess returning to her hair was anything to go on.
