So drawn in by the scene and what was happening, Draco hadn't noticed that the actual Ciel was standing there as well. So the touch was a bit startling, considering how he hadn't been able to properly interact with what was happening. Looking over to the real Ciel, Draco's eyes then went back as the scene continued to play out.

"No, I cannot. However..." Draco didn't finish what he was going to say. Instead, he let his words fade off. Then, "I know what it is like to be branded. To be... trapped by fanaticism." He then glanced around again. "At least, I assume that is what this is about, some form of fanatic group."

"You cannot have a Cult without Fanatics." Draco said in a dry tone of voice. He gave a slight shudder as he thought of this ritual and branding being used for such a thing. Summoning a demon... Well, what was the Dark Lord if not a demon in human form?

"Immortality and World Domination, that is what ours sought." There was a long moment in which Draco fought with himself. "If you ever wish to talk about this, or wish to know more, you can ask me outside of this memory." Draco rubbed at the place where the scar remained, the only sign of the Dark Mark left upon his forearm. He had thought sixteen young, and yet... Ciel had endured a similar pain at a younger age.

Draco could understand the wish for revenge. Not that he had anyone to seek it from. No, his own personal wish at the worst had been different. Life. Draco just wanted to continue to live. The wish to change and become something else than what he had been all came later.

"True enough. Honestly, I'm not one to talk about emotions. Still." Draco's eyes roamed more. There really was nothing left to say about it. It wasn't like they were sitting down for tea. "I once had someone try to help. I'm not sure it would have helped if I had let him, but I feel like he would have tried to offer something. Some observation or just to listen. Since he can't... this is my poor attempt. But please, do not share that I have." Draco then made a dramatic and put-upon expression. "The thought of everyone thinking I would listen to all of their problems. It is terrifying."

Draco hummed a bit as he gave a slight nod. "I can easily imagine so. There are a few moments in my past I would hate for others to see." He left that the eerie similarity to this one of Ciels unsaid. This kind of thing wasn't easy to admit to having happened.

"So, how exactly do we get out of this? I'm still not sure on that front." At least Draco did not pity Ciel for this. There was a sadness there that the boy had experienced this type of situation, but no pity. He obviously overcame the trauma. Or, at least, learned to live with it. Pity was useless and helped no one.
