[It was the third time that Lyle had circled the area where he first spotted the car, taking several days to do it. Yep, it was definitely the car that he thought it was, as he walked up and looked at the license plate. He stopped for a long moment, looking up and down the street as though expecting someone to suddenly come around the corner.

In a way, he was, but when that person didn't make an appearance and no one else seemed to as well in this quiet stretch of street, Lyle went into action, pulling out a lock jimmy from his trench coat. It didn't take long for him to actually get it open, opening the door and sitting down in the car. He immediately rifled through the glove box; the name on the registration said "Neil Dylandy"]

Jackpot.

[He continued to search the car for a few a moments, finally discovering under one of the seats a set of keys]

Good luck getting this back.

Hey, this is Jason, the guy from the floor six meeting. You got a minute?

Yeah, I got a minute. Where do you want to meet?

How about out front, I could use a smoke.

Works for me. I could use one too.

[And Lyle heads down stairs with his pack of cigarettes, stepping outside and looking to see if Jason had beat him there. He did live on a lower floor as after all]

[ Lyle would beat him without a doubt. Jason his way outside with an energy drink in one hand and a cigarette already between his lips but unlit.

He looked half dead, he was tired of this dream nonsense. Ready for his normal night terrors back.]

So, is it Neil or Lyle?

[ He asked through the cigarette feeling through his pockets before realizing he forgot his lighter. ]

Got a light?

Me? I'm Lyle.

[He has a feeling this has to do with one of the weird dreams that has been happening recently]

Yeah, I got one.

[He pulled his lighter out of his pocket, lighting it up and holding it out to Jason before lighting his own cigarette]

[dreams can be all kinds of things. what they are normally are, are responses to your daily life, ways for your brain to process things you've seen in the real world.

perhaps that is why Osomatsu's had this dream. and, let me tell you, it's one of the coolest dreams he's ever had. it's like he's watching a kickass movie, of his buddy Lyle piloting a large robot. Osomatsu sees bits and pieces of the same dream a couple nights in a row, but it's only the third night where he sees it in full, standing off to the side in a dreamscape so that he can watch the events unfold.

he's not alone, either, but he doesn't realize that yet.

he presses his hands against the invisible wall, staring hard at the... well, it's like a movie screen? except that it's all around him. he can't interact with the Lyle in the pilot seat, but that's fine. he doesn't need to.

after the brief dream comes to an end, Osomatsu utters an impressed] Cool...! [he's had a couple giant robot dreams in his life, but they were never this vivid]

[No, he wasn't alone. Lyle was seeing it too. He was reliving that memory from when he was piloting Zabanya against the aliens, except this time he was watching himself doing it. Wow, talk about an out of body experience.

But when it came to an end, he hear the faint utterance of "cool" and turned to look]

Osomatsu?

[hm? Osomatsu lifts his head, turning it over his shoulder to look at who was adressing him. ah, hey! just the guy he wanted to see!

he turns around fully to face Lyle] Lyle! That was you, right? And your robot?

[Yep, it really was Osomatsu, considering he responded to the name. Of course the conversation naturally turned to the dream and the Gundam]

Yeah, that was me and that was my Gundam Zabanya, the most recent one I've had.

[hey, it was a dream, so it could have been anyone piloting, really... or, wait. it wasn't actually a dream, but a memory. but Osomatsu hasn't quite figured that out, yet]

Man! That was awesome! You were kicking ass in that thing! [it has a name, Osomatsu]

Yeah, Zabanya is pretty cool. It has to have two haros controlling it because there's so much going on with it. The bit system allows all of those weapons to separate from the Gundam fire independently of it.

[For a dream, he definitely knows a lot about how it works]

[holy crap! weirdest dream ever, but Osomatsu's not complaining. he got to see the haros, too!]

That's amazing! How many weapons are on it?

Thought that was the name you'd introduced yourself to me with.

[ He spoke as he lit up and took a drag before leaning back against a wall.]

So, Neil owned a nice car I take it, well Lyle owns it now.

[ Despite his wording he didn't sound like he was looking for an argument just piecing a puzzle together.]

How many weapons are on it...

[Actually has to think about that for a moment]

Twenty-four sites fixed on the mech and ten that can be operated remotely.

I certainly hope that's what I would have told you.

[He took a drag off his cigarette as well]

That's exactly it. He had this car for the longest time. It made appearance when he was around, but I never saw him with it. Then... it was just sitting there for a while. So I took it.

[Little did he know the reason it was sitting there was because he was gone]

[he whistles appreciatively, tucking his hands into his pockets]

That's some robot. Er, mecha, I guess.

Pretty much the same thing I guess. More specifically, they are mobile suits in my world.

It's pretty sweet. It was actually designed more closely to how I tend to fight so it's perfect.

A lot of overkill, but it worked for what we needed it for.

[Osomatsu nods, then turns to look at the memory playing again. it's like it's on a loop. curious...]

How long did it take you t'learn how to pilot it?

[Oh wow, there it goes again. Probably because they are still here talking about it]

Not too long. A couple of weeks. I had some experience with basic mechs so this was only slightly different. Besides, I had a good co-pilot.

[only a couple of weeks? Osomatsu continues to be impressed]

Oh, yeah? They as good a pilot as you?

[Lyle definitely likes it when people are impressed by what he does. Lyle has the opposite problem of Osomatsu; he's the youngest brother and feels like Neil was overshadowing him so someone being impressed by something he does is all good with him]

Sort of. It's that little orange robot there. [Because look there it is] They're called Haros. That one has been with me since I joined Celestial Being.

Yeah, I saw the Haros! [he somehow could guess what they are, thanks to their chat from before] Though... I was expecting a more human co-pilot! Heh.

You stole his car.

[Tieria wasn't quite sure how to take that. After all, he had a feeling that memory happened after the fact, and Lyle was Lyle, after all. But... really?]

Well might be a little tight in the cockpit for a human co-pilot. I wouldn't complain about it though. Having a cute co-pilot would be nice.

Not that the haros aren't cute, but in a different way.

[He's joking really]
