(Open) We Must Remember
who: Lyle Dylandy + Open
what: october memory share event
when: 10/9 - 10/23
where: everywhere
warnings: grand theft auto; epic mech moment; death
This Is Mine Now - First Person
[It was the third time that Lyle had circled the area where he first spotted the car, taking several days to do it. Yep, it was definitely the car that he thought it was, as he walked up and looked at the license plate. He stopped for a long moment, looking up and down the street as though expecting someone to suddenly come around the corner.
In a way, he was, but when that person didn't make an appearance and no one else seemed to as well in this quiet stretch of street, Lyle went into action, pulling out a lock jimmy from his trench coat. It didn't take long for him to actually get it open, opening the door and sitting down in the car. He immediately rifled through the glove box; the name on the registration said "Neil Dylandy"]
Jackpot.
[He continued to search the car for a few a moments, finally discovering under one of the seats a set of keys]
Good luck getting this back.
Mech For The Win - Third Person
Lyle piloting Zabanya
Lost Love - Third Person
Death of Anew Returner, Lyle's girlfriend.
[ooc: minor nudity in this video, nothing explicit]

[text after car theft]
[Tieria wasn't quite sure how to take that. After all, he had a feeling that memory happened after the fact, and Lyle was Lyle, after all. But... really?]
[text]
Re: [text]
I am surprised someone else did not attempt to steal it first. How long had it been left there?
[Tieria was curious, honestly. He knew the last time it was likely used by Neil. But when had Lyle figured out that Neil had sort of abandoned it?]

Re: [text]
[That sort of answered his question, at least.]
Have any other of these strange memories and visions come up for you?
[text]
[Sarcasm]
Re: [text]
[Ignoring the sarcasm for now.]

Re: [text]
[Question of the day, right?]

[There was a beat, and then Tieria messaged again.]
Will you be alright?
[He could be nice when it counted.]

Let me know if there is anything you need.
[He could understand.]

[Oh sure, he rather enjoyed the one of him stealing Neil's car, but the other one... that was depressing]

[And this was where Tieria was lacking...]

Did you eat, yet, today?
no subject
Not really. Want to grab food?
no subject
It might help. I have heard that food can bring comfort.
no subject
Usually it can. There are probably a few times it can't but who knows.
Where do you want to meet?
no subject
[Tieria considered that.]
I heard there is a small restaurant with good food near the communal housing building. We can try that if you would like.
no subject
[Sorry, he's a little amused at that]
Yeah, let's try that. Meet you there in a few?
no subject
[He was just going to ignore the comment about distraction skills.]
