Getting the bar set up without Mazikeen there to do most of the heavy lifting for him, or barking at people to do the heavy lifting, was a new experience in itself. He hadn't realized how much he'd relied on her to do so much for him. The day to day things. The contracts. The bills. Even the hiring of staff had been left in her capable hands. Lucifer didn't have much of an inkling of what constituted as 'good' in terms of staff for his place other than 'wanted to be there and was legally allowed to be'. Finding out just how low the drinking age was in Quarantine was a bit of a surprise and he had to mandate that there'd be an age restriction on the club itself. Why? Because he was pro-sex, pro-drugs, and anti-child. Having fourteen year olds dancing around would just kill the mood for him, so Lux would have an 19+ age limit on who'd be allowed in as far as patronage.

He was also still leasing out the other floors that hadn't been rented, so far two taken up by one Stephen Strange and some pack of hooligans with odd markings all over them who he'd been told may not take too kindly to Satan being their landlord. Well, that was their problem, wasn't it?

In an attempt to fill the other floors, before Lux opened for good, he'd be hosting 'come meet your potential landlord' parties; hosting lunches and little shindigs to help get the new staff used to what he expected and to give the potential tenants an idea of what the building would be like when the bar was in swing. Lucifer was all about transparency.

He could also be found in town, looking at furniture and possibly trying to find places to recruit staff and tenants. Or possibly in Lux itself just idly playing with his piano, pleased to have it back and to be able to play as he liked.

The ones where I woo you and try to build a home with you. That includes memories and courting and all those little human things that people do that I've never really understood, but it seems to make you all happy, so...

[At her admission, he grinned wider still, hands going to his jacket to pull it off. He wasn't wearing a vest today, so it was easy to just start unbuttoning his shirt, watching her all the while.]

I do. Now, would you like this to be an unveiling with extra, or would you prefer to keep it to just a naked Devil?

You're not wrong. A lot of people like feeling secure in their relationships and all. As secure as they can, anyhow.

[She means what she says about him not being wrong. Wrong about it making her happy, that is. Her voice is low as she admits to that. And while this place may not be 'home' to her, his presence is enough of a home by itself. Him wanting that too... it means a lot to her.]

[He pulled the shirt out when he got to the tucked in part, undoing the last two buttons and sliding the white cloth off to disappear off to the side with his jacket. Then he reached for his belt.]

I was thinking of how much you seem to like the wings... And how much I like that you like them.

Ah.

[If asked, she would refuse to admit that her mouth had gone a little dry at the sight of him. That despite not being dragged in by his powers, he did affect her.]

Yes. Yeah. That'd be-- I want to see them.

[She could edit her words, but she couldn't hide that look of naked desire on her face, and he hoped she'd never try. Undoing the belt and his trousers, he toed off his shoes, bending down to push the rest of his clothes off so he could step out of them.

As he did, he granted her desire, the white unfolding behind him, spreading out to become a feathery white backdrop for a naked Lucifer.]

I know. But you'll have to come closer first.

[He always looked so unearthly when he let his wings free. Which made sense, of course, because Lucifer was unearthly in every single way. It still disarmed her sometimes, knowing he's who he really says he is. And even with all her research and ways of trying to understand, she still has a lot to learn. About him, and everything else.

But for now, she just reaches out for him, beckoning him closer. And it's not lost on her that she's tempting the Devil, which has a small smirk gracing her lips.]

Mm, closer? How close would you like?

[He took a few steps forward, fanning his wings towards her until they almost touched her outstretched hand, but drew them back at the last minute. Ah, the tease. He loved teasing her, mostly because she was so exuberant in making him pay for that tease.]

You know how close.

[Oh, she knew what he was doing, and she didn't intend to fold to him. Yet, anyway. Not without getting him and all those feathers thoroughly ruffled and puffed up.]

Do I?

[He took another step, his wing fanning forward again, tickling against her shoulder before he drew it back. Oh, this was going to be fun.]

And you're the one who always calls me a tease. Try looking in a mirror sometime.

[She reaches out to try and grip some of those feathers before they're sliding out of her hold again. Damn him and his 'fun'. Something like a grunting sigh escaped her at his teasing, tickling touches; close but not close enough. Not that she intended to give in and tell him that at the moment -- part of her wondered how long he could keep this little game up, after all.]

[He may have been able to hold out if he couldn't see that it was affecting her exactly as he hoped, wings sliding out of reach before he spread them wide behind him, smiling as he took one more step forward. Another brush of them close to her, trying to keep them just barely out of reach, eyes sparkling mischievously as he grinned at her.]

You tease by existing, love. You always leave me wanting...

I'd hardly call that my fault. Usually just breathing on you a certain way will get a reaction from you.

[She waits for him to get closer, not wanting to give anything away when he guides his wing towards her. They're close enough to just brush against her before he's pulling away again, and this time she follows, rising swiftly from her prone position to try and grab at them before he can move away entirely.]

You, on the other hand, are enjoying this way too much.

Fair point, but it's particularly potent coming from yo-- ah.

[She got a hold of his wings, feathers bunching under her touch and shivering as the sensation was like a full body stroke over him. He stills his wings, watching her with something of an intensity to his gaze, fingers clenching and unclenching as he debated on closing in that distance and touching her.]

You've caught me, Detective. What do you plan to do with me?

Whatever I want to.

[Spoken lowly as she strokes at him further, knowing how much it affected him and wanting to get him riled up. She noticed the way his body reacted to her whenever she touched him there; like it was a live wire of sensation. Her hand spreads up and over his wing, fingers bunching gently into the feathers before pulling away again, moving to another spot to do the same thing.]

You seem to like it when I boss you around anyhow.

I do, don't I?

[He steps in more, wings ruffling under her hand as he sweeps the other one around her, caging her in white feathers as he reaches for her legs.]

Though, I should clarify that I very much do like it. I wouldn't want it to just seem like a thing. So, Detective. What is it you want to do with me?

You already know what I want.

[Spoken lowly as she watches him close in on her. Her eyes were dark but alert in the dimmed light of the penthouse, an intent but easy kind of arousal.]

Perhaps--

[He draws in a quick breath, stepping further in so he can step up just against her, fitting into that spread of her legs as he looked down at her, feathers almost docile in her hold.]

Perhaps I'd like you to say it.

[The fact of that wasn't lost on her. The idea that such a powerful creature such as himself held himself so calmly and intimately in her hold. Like he belonged there. Belonged to her.]

I want your hands and wings all over me.

[A phrase breathed out as he reached to draw her in, picking her up off the piano as he wound his wings and arms around her. Their little plan for foreplay was currently forgotten in his need to please her. And she was still frustratingly dressed, so his hands had to slip in under her shirt to touch her.]

Lucifer...

[Mumbled against his shoulder as he curled himself around her and drew her close. Her arms reached for him back, hands delving into his feathers without a second thought. Even if she was clothed, she felt that familiar ache for him settling in her belly, igniting the part of her that needed him to touch her.]

[He stopped her from saying anything else, from driving him mad with her voice by crushing his lips to hers. He was more than fully aroused at the moment, the teasing and her manhandling of his wings having woken his cock nicely, and she would likely feel that nudging at her as he shifted his hold on her, moving to carry her towards their bed, his plans just as evident as his arousal.]

[There was a growl to his voice, an edge to it as he moved further towards the bed, but she was teasing him too much, her hands too clever in finding those places that had him wanting nothing more than to be inside her. He made it as far as the wall, pressing her up against it as a hand lifted to tear her shirt down the middle. He spread the material open, cupping her breast through her bra as he stole another kiss.]

[She would be lying if she said she hadn't expected that. Lucifer, for all his sexual prowess, had a distinct threshold when it came to teasing. He craved her with an intensity she hadn't anticipated, though that seemed dumb, now that she thought on it. Of course he's wanted her. But he tugged and pressed and kissed against her like he was starving; like nothing else would do for him in that moment.

It gets her every time.

Which is why she finds herself returning that kiss in all its vigor, wrapping her arms around his neck as she pulls him in closer to crash her mouth against his.]

[When she returned his kiss with as much passion as himself, he moved his hand down to work open the button of her jeans.

Jeans which were also going to be ripped, the material jerking against her before he threw it away, pressing her back up against the wall properly as he licked into her mouth. It was maddening how she made him want her, how he couldn't think past a certain point with her. They came together and the world ceased to be -- and he couldn't seem to care.]
