who: Thor and Lucifer.
what: Thor finds a hot-tub, turns out it actually belongs to someone.
when: Some time around Carnivale, when Thor is at Drunk Nirvana.
where: Lucifer's club/domicile.
warnings: Nude men in a hot tub, talking about the existential.
This may be it for Thor. This may be the final night he takes himself out on the town. It's been a long time,
now. A week or more of non-stop partying and drinking. Thor has indulged in every pleasure, he's smothered himself in glitter, he's been fed potatoes and danced in lounges with beautiful people and danced more than he's slept. It's been nice to cut loose for a long time, without the worries of the world on his shoulders,
but he can only ignore his burdens for so long before he starts to realise why he's trying so hard to distract himself.
When he hits that point, Thor invites himself to leave. With a flick of his wrist, Mjölnir has him shooting up into the sky so he can fly the long way around to his bed. He's gliding low, utilising the scenic route to avoid going home alone to sleep. That's when he catches sight of inviting, steamy and bubbling water. He's seen hot springs before, so imagine his excitement!
On closer inspection, it's not exactly what he imagined, and it absolutely does not look like something here for random, giant blond men to use without permission. Yet, his clothing is coming off anyway. Sandals,
board shorts and a thin, hooded shirt hit the floor and he gently lays his hammer on top of the pile. Thor steps into the tub, lowering himself into it so his hair submerges in as well.
The heat and thrum of bubbling water seems to help ease his mind yet again. Thor shuts his eyes, content to relax for as long as he can do this without being caught.

Sipping carefully, he mulled over how to ask, opting to be direct, as he usually was. "Climb up here, did you? Ooh, or maybe you did that magical teleporty thing like the other one did? I would certainly love to learn how to do that."
no subject
Thor takes a swill of his drink before he continues. "Who is the other one?" His attention turns to curiosity. He knows a few people who can teleport, he just wonders if it might be someone in particular.
no subject
Another sip as he settles in more comfortably in the tub, bubbling water blurping away happily around them. "Ah... Weird, I believe? No, Strange. Yes. He'll be leasing one of the floors here. I suppose it would help to remember the man's name."
no subject
"Strange, yes. He's from my world." One of them, anyway, but he doesn't need to blow minds by explaining the multi-verses between all the people in his life. "His magic is different to mine, from what I've gathered."
no subject
But that caught his attention, and he smiled at Thor. "Is he? Well, that's a lovely thing to hear. There's only one other here from my world, and she's... well. I think she's finding all of this a bit much, really, even if she's trying to wrap her mind around it. She'll get it, though. She's rather bright." Yes, Thor, he was going to wax poetic about his lady love.
no subject
"Yes, there's quite a few here from my world." A pause. "Worlds." Asgard and Midgard, he's spoiled for choice. He falls silent, however, when he listens to Lucifer describe his companion. He can be thick at the best of times, but even he can note the affection in Lucifer's description. As ever, it intrigues him.
"Who is she? Perhaps we've met."
no subject
"Have you been here long? I'm still trying to figure out the exactness of how this world works. Portals that suck people in seem a bit... mm. Convenient."
no subject
He won't explain how he knows that, yet, because he's moving onto the next line of thought. "Two months or so, by now. Time moves differently for me." He shrugs, and he takes a draw from his drink. "It's not unlike concepts I've experienced before."

"The younger brother and sister are from different realities, yes." Thor shrugs under the water. "I was not even aware I had a sister, but one brother is from my reality. One wonders what else they could do to make this place any more confusing."
no subject
Still, he supposed it was just as distracting for Thor as it would be for himself to see another version of a sibling here. "I hope your brother's the fun one. The other one's a bit of a bore, if you ask me."
no subject
"I can't say I know all that much about Heven, nor wings." He shrugs. "My Loki is the older one. I cannot say which one would be boring, they're both as capricious as one another."
no subject
Or maybe Loki was just a snob. Said one snob about another...
no subject
"Oddly enough, I couldn't differentiate them from that sort of definition, though I'm not familiar with GQ. The Loki I know is technically younger, but most certainly up his own backside. He's good fun when he warms to you. He's earned his reputation as the God of Mischief."
no subject
At the mention of GQ, he waved it away. "Men's fashion magazine for the humans. They do have lovely suits in them, though. As for your brother being fun... well, I suppose you'd be the better judge. He didn't seem to warm too quickly to me, and I was being rather gracious, I think."
no subject
"It's true, you are a gracious host. I cannot imagine what inspired such an icy reception, other than his own mind." The tone Thor uses suggests that Loki commonly makes his own issues, but he digresses.
"I am Thor, by the way. Odinson. I do not recall if I asked your name, but seeing as we've established that you are no mere mortal, I'll ask what kind of being you are."
no subject
"I've many, many siblings. Only one's older, but he likes to lord it over all of us. Pompous ass..."
no subject
"I've heard of Lucifer and the devil, but I must admit, it's mostly though expressions. I've not studied many religions outside of my own." He chuckles. "But it is nice to meet someone in a similar situation- may I ask how you came to be known as the devil?"
no subject
"Everyone needs a scapegoat. I became His."
no subject
"So your father is some sort of higher power, then? --Is that who you refer to when you say Him? Or your sibling, perhaps?"
no subject
no subject
"Such a man does not exist to me, but I've heard his name on Midgard. He's proved himself to be very influential." Maybe more so than himself or Odin, which is somewhat bothersome. "Do you find you miss any of them?"
