july catch-all (open)!
who: Steve Rogers and You. (OTA).
what: July catch-all.
when: All throughout July!
where: All over the place.
warnings: Mentions of sadness and feeling displaced. Will edit this as needed.
A. THE GREAT OUTDOORS.
[ There were a lot of reasons Steve preferred to be outdoors than inside but one of the main ones happened to be because he breathed easier. He felt less closed in and trapped, something that always brought back too many fouler memories. So, he can often be found hiking around and exploring everything possible. He can also be found camping and maybe even cloud watching. The latter reminding him of the simpler times of his childhood.
Plenty of nostalgia. ]
B. NEVER BACK DOWN.
[ With the gym being practically a second home, Steve can be found there often enough. Punching and kicking at the sandbags, running on the treadmills and sparring with anyone who feels up to the task. Maybe even a few secret yoga classes. But hey flexibility is important and hot yoga is something else. ]
C. NETWORK.
[ Given his past few years in the more modern era Steve knew of technology but generally preferred to not really use it, unless it had to do with art. He loved the drawing tablets and how he could make things appear 3D with the printer thing Tony set up for him before things went quickly downhill.
Always such troubling thoughts. Pushing it aside, he grabbed for the current device in his possession and with only a slight look of distaste, he fired it up to connect with the network. He needed to make an introduction and not isolate himself as much as he did the last time he wound up in some unknown place. ]
Is this -- okay, yes, it appears on and working. Hey there, I'm Steve Rogers and -- new here. [ Not at all awkward in the least bit. ] If anyone needs help with anything, I'd be happy to lend a hand. I can lift really heavy things. [ Seriously? ]
I'm looking for a couple of running partners. I can warn that I run really early but I'm gladly spring for breakfast afterwards.
D. WILDCARD.
[ catch steve exploring around and feel free to throw whatever scenarios my way. if anyone wants to discuss or wants a starter, catch me at
snowflakecrowns.
a few possibilities - grocery shopping, watching films, early morning jogs, so not looking for danger, getting a drink. and so on. ]

[ It made sense when she was designing her perfect business. ]
It's not too much to move, some couches and the like for the VIP area on the top floor. You don't have to carry them all the way up there though, I'll do that.
[ Or she'll vaguely imply she might if he doesn't do it, at least. ]
no subject
I can move them, no problem at all. [ It would make him feel useful in the very least and give him a brief purpose. He tended to drift aimlessly without having something keeping him focused and in tune. ]
But I do have to wonder what your favorite breakfast food is.
no subject
Bacon rolls with the ketchup condiment or, failing that, bacon and blueberry pancakes. Yourself?
no subject
I've always really loved waffles and syrup. [ Pretty heavy on the latter part there. ] Still getting used to bacon. I could never really eat it before.

[ So now, he tried to eat a little bit of everything. ]
I have a food diary. There are so many foods I haven't tried yet and want to.
no subject
[ Sounding a little proud there because she knows she is no shabby cook. ]
We only ever ate massive haunches of miscellaneous meat where I'm from, it grew tedious.
no subject
I haven't really tried either unless egg rolls count? [ The different cultures of the world really intrigued him, especially their food. There were so many more options than back in his time. ] You must be a good cook. I can't really say the same.
Did you not know what the meat was?
no subject
[ She hums, tapping her chin. ]
We assumed it was whatever roamed the plains for a long time. Elk or bear, wild boar or unicorn ... The one constant was that it was never troll, haha.
[ #ajoke!! ]
no subject
[ Unicorn? Well, he did battle against aliens and killer robots. Anything seemed possible. ]
Wouldn't troll be kind of human?
no subject
[ How to lighten that statement ... ? ]
Ah, and I don't eat my neighbours. Should I be keeping an eye on you?
no subject
[ Not that he wanted to encounter one. Were they like in Harry Potter? ]
Maybe if I'm in a kitchen but otherwise I don't make it a habit to sample those around me.
no subject
[ A laugh rings out like a bell and Loki coos teasingly. ]
Not unless invited, surely?
no subject
[ While Steve didn't always pick up on innuendos, this one he managed just fine. ]
After dinner, hopefully.
no subject
Dinner, right. So we're up to two meals now, I just have to somehow walk you all the way to supper and it's a home-run.
no subject
Do you usually use baseball terminology in your come ons or am I just lucky?
no subject
Is it working? I would love to be able to say I successfully wooed you.
[ Especially since that will never happen with the Rogers she knows. ]
no subject
Dinner first, remember? Can't be wooed on an empty stomach. That's just a fact of life there.
