Hello? Mr. Odinson? It's Dr. Crusher!

Thor strolls away from his room when he hears the knock, already smiling as he approaches Beverly. He extends a hand, as he's accustomed to Midgardian greetings now.]
Doctor. Good of you to come.

It's my pleasure. [There is a bit of an amused twinkle in her eyes.] How are the patients holding up?
no subject
I have nothing good to say, that much is certain. It might be better if you see for yourself. [He takes a step back and gestures for her to enter the room alongside him.
She will find a flower box, with the flowers in much the same state as they were on camera.]

[She kneels by the box and gently lifts one of the wilting flowers with her forefinger.]
How often have you been watering them?
no subject
Morning and night. [Sort of.] It has been suggested that I may have been... too attentive.
no subject
Maybe just a little. These particular plants are usually fine just once a day. But don't beat yourself up too much - it's a very common mistake to make when you're first getting started.
no subject
Is there no saving them, then? [Not that he blames her, of course.]
no subject
I'm afraid not.

Then I feel quite the fool. [He folds his arms over his chest, levelling a disappointed look on his plants.] Then I will need a hardier plant.
