i. Training
[Thor allots time with everyone who takes interest in his offer to train together. Usually it's an early morning, but he's flexible depending on when Search and Rescue needs him. He locates a gym and arrives early, setting up with punching bags and make-shift, training weapons that resemble small, sturdy pool noodles. It's not easy to find a lot of swords here.

He's requested the ability to have a private room, away from sweaty people on treadmills, and the need is accommodated given both necessity and charm.

He's dressed casually. Sweatpants, a grey cotton shirt and his hair pulled back tight in a ponytail with a silver clasp that he rarely removes. Anyone who knows him as the glorious, cape-wearing god will probably be taken aback by the fact that he looks like a hippy gym teacher.

He'll be happy to see you when you arrive.]

ii. Gardening
[If you take Thor up on the offer to help him with gardening, he will gladly invite you to his communal housing room. He has a set up of various wilted plants in the sunlight of a window, gardening magazines strewn about.]

Suddenly you have become indispensable to me. [Thor observes, with a quirk of his brow. He doesn't pause again, he's heading out of the building with Tony in tow and wandering up the street.

He vaguely remembers where the plant store might be.]

I am surprised to see we've lived together so long and talked so little.

[inebriety]

[That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to him. Tony's eyes widen before he looks away. It's pathetic that a joke is making him react like that, but he knows he isn't the happiest of people.]

I don't spend a lot of time there.

[Translation: he spends most of his time passed out in bars.]

Aye, Search and Rescue occupies a great deal of my time. [Thor quirks a brow at him.] And you? Better places to be?

[inebriety]

Nothing as noble as you. I'm leaving that sort of stuff to the other Iron Men. I've been entertaining the ladies of Riverview instead.

[He is absolutely going to be sleazy and waggle his eyebrows with that.]

[worldsaway]

There's not a lot of nobility in dragging people kicking, screaming and bleeding back into the city. [The nonchalance in his tone assures that he's not in the least bit bothered, though.]

Ah- a noble cause, if I ever heard one. Time consuming too, I'm sure. Have you had great success in your efforts?

[inebriety]

Thor, please. This is me we're talking about.

[And then he looks perturbed.]

Unless that's one of the differences. [He looks up at Thor with wide eyes.] Am I still considered a playboy in your universe?

[worldsaway]

Not as I know you, but take that with a grain of salt. I knew you to be in a partnership when I met you- how long that lasted is beyond me. [Thor shrugs.]

I feel pity for you, Stark. I could hardly stand one other iteration of myself, let alone two.

[inebriety]

[This time he doesn't have to force a response, the surprise on his face is genuine. He hasn't had a genuine relationship in a very long time.]

It's not that bad, in fact it's a chance to live out one of my top fantasies.

[It can't be a surprise to anyone that Tony wants to sleep with himself.]

[worldsaway]

That's one way to make the best of a bad situation. [Thor doesn't necessarily sound like he approves, but he's not Tony's dad.]

I'd have thought you'd sooner destroy one another than work together.

[inebriety]

[That startles a laugh out of him.]

I don't hate myself nearly as much as they do.

do you mind if we wind this up and start something fresh?

From what I know, you've no need to. [Thor laughs in turn, then comes to a stop outside the gardening store.]

And I promise it's not only because you're of use to me.
