i. parkour like you mean it

[ Steve has made his own routine since coming to Riverview, and part of his exercise regimen is taking a run around the city near the housing building. He just happens to do it by taking the high road. If anyone happens to look up (or be on the rooftop of a building enjoying the sights) they could catch sight of the man running at full speed, using the balconies and awnings to create a path all his own. If they make eye contact, Steve will even wave!

They might also happen to see him fall. With the flying beasts still here and there and Steve certainly not about to let that deter him, he inevitably gets knocked off of a ledge as he's fending them off. Falling seems to be a constant in his life. ]

ii. Prijata time

[ Steve has given out some gifts to his friends, and if you happen to be one of them, he has handed those out in person whenever he can. He'll be tracking people down in order to check up with them as well, since that's his way of celebrating friendship on the weird moon.

For people that he doesn't know well, he's still going to do what he can to share some Prijata spirit. He's offering to do sketches for people of things and friends they miss from home, as well as some group shots of new friends they have met in the city. This is more practice he's gotten in art for a long time now, and he seems happy to get back to it. If he notices someone standing off by themselves, he goes up to them with a small bag of local candy or fried snack from a nearby vendor that he's gotten attached to. Making friends is a celebration he can get behind. ]

Are you hungry? I think I got too much.

iii. Hanging with friends

[ When he isn't playing building platformer, Steve goes jogging on the normal streets. He likes company, so if people have expressed interest in the past, he invites them to join him. He might wake the late sleepers up if he knows they are planning on an early morning jog with him, or he'll wave at other people out when he's taking his laps and head toward them.

Later in the day, he's training. Either at one of the gyms or in the park, enjoying the sunlight. If anyone around is up for sparring or a friendly competition, Steve will happily take them on. Even on their terms, because he likes learning new things. When he's actually taking a break, he finds people who are doing their own outdoor activities and having fun so he can watch them, maybe learn something about a new sport?

Or, if he's lucky, someone can show him a better way to get around besides running everywhere. The city is big. ]

[The bowl is definitely not full of Earthly cuisine, it's alien in appearance and scent. The contents looks like a grey-ish soup, but pulling the spoon from it takes considerable effort.

It's kind of like fish-scented glue.]

I thought it was soup. [He says with a shrug.] It was presented to me most eagerly. I had thought it generous, but perhaps they were liberating themselves of it.

[He puts another candy in his mouth, watching Steve look into the bowl.] Try it.

[ The "soup" looks dubious at best, but in Steve's mind food is food and there's a part of him that doesn't want to see it go to waste. The look of the bowl's contents does make him balk, though, and he raises his eyes back to Thor with a questioning expression. ]

Is that how it's supposed to look?

[ Gray seems strange for a soup, but Steve digs up a spoonful anyway and brings it to his mouth. He has to chew to get the thick mouthful down and when he swallows his expression is bleak. ]

It's... filling. [ Steve is trying to be polite and not sound too disappointed. ]

It's not a dish native to Asgard, nor anyone with taste buds. [He scoffs, watching with absolute delight as Steve tastes it and looks as if he has witnessed his own demise.

He's like a kid on Christmas here.]

It's filth. [He says, merciless.] This candy is serving me well.

It's not a dish that looks familiar to me either, but I guess someone thought it was worth making. Maybe they forgot an ingredient.

[Or added too much of everything. He frowns and sets the bowl back down, looking cautious. He'll just let that one sit.]

Maybe we should find some pizza.

[He manages not to add that he wants to wash his mouth out. Just barely, but he manages to hold back.]

Perhaps they should have forgot to make it.

[Thor is absolutely savage about this. Bad food is an insult, alright?

That said, he perks up at the suggestion of pizza.]

Where are we to find it amongst all of this food? Can you smell it from afar? [Maybe that's part of Steve's enhanced abilities.]

Probably. But I feel like they probably had that idea when they made it.

[It has to be a bad joke. A prank for the rest of them that aren't familiar with the soup... If it is soup.]

I can probably pick it out if we get close enough.

[He's never really considered trying to track down food before. But, now that Thor says it, Steve thinks he has a fair shot. Not like Logan, but he can pick out good food, surely.]

One way to find out, right?

I'm putting my faith in you, Rogers. [Thor says sternly. Many of his senses are heightened, but his smell isn't really better or worse than the average man.

He really wishes it were different. Alas.]

Lead the way, I shall follow. [Very helpful of him.]

[ The very serious reply Thor gives him makes it sound like a real mission and not just a food hunt. Steve smiles, because he's certainly no bloodhound, but they are in the middle of a bunch of food stalls and he has a good feeling they can find at least a decent pizza on their trek. Steve nods and starts leading, mostly just checking out the vendors and perusing the different options he hasn't tried yet. As he leads them down one street, however, he perks up. There's a familiar sight several yards away, and Steve motions for Thor to follow as he picks up the pace. The vendor is making what appear to be the local version of flatbread rounds, and each has a unique set of toppings. ]

Now, this looks good.

[ He's a little smug about his find as he buys a few and holds one out to Thor. ]
