[ clark has found a house for his family. kara and jon have bedrooms upstairs, on the ground floor there's a kitchen, a living/dining room and lois' bedroom/study. there's a basement that will eventually feature a pool table or similar but for now is pretty empty.

supers, feel free to write your own starters for moving shenanigans, domestic things, getting used to living together, having guests over, etc. ]

[ His breath stills for a moment before he pulls back, shaking his head vigorously. His fingers clutch at his father's sleeve. ]

It's not — I don't want that.

[ He teeters on the edge of telling his father what happened. How Jon had disappeared in his father's arm, his family in tears as they clung onto him. How badly he didn't want to go. But those word clog up his throat and Jon didn't want to start crying again. ]

[signifies]

[ Clark, feeling the pressure of Jon's fingers, embraces him in a bear hug quickly. ]

What is it?

[supersweet]

[ He shakes his head again before plonking his head against his father's chest. ]

Dun wanna talk about it.

[signifies]

Okay. [ Jon will when he feels like it. ] You mind if I stay the night here?

[supersweet]

'Course not.

[ He pulls his covers back. His answering grin is a little shame-faced. ]

But I didn't make my bed properly.

[signifies]

[ Clark makes an exaggerated silly face at him. ]

Oh, I see. I'll have to think of something appropriate for that.

You promise not to get out of it?

[supersweet]

[ His back straightens at the word "promise" ]

I promise!

[signifies]

[ Clark starts tickling Jon's sides gently. ]

This is what you get!

[supersweet]

[ Jon has no defense against tickling, his parent's deadliest weapon against him. He flails as he desperately tries to protect his sides while he shakes with laughter. ]

D-Dad! C'mon!

[signifies]

[ Clark is grinning helplessly. ]

You'll never escape my clutches!

[supersweet]

[ Jon tries to swat his father's hands away, giggling. ]

That's evil, Dad! The most evil!

[signifies]

Not even Superboy is a match for me!

[ He tickles Jon some more, and then hugs him again tightly. While the heaviness in his heart has lifted for now, he'll have to deal with it later. Loss can try even his patience. ]

[supersweet]

[ Jon squeezes back. ]

It'll be okay, dad.

[signifies]

[ Clark curls up next to him. ]

I know. [ They have each other and Kara. That's still more than he had at home. ]

[supersweet]

[ Jon tucks his head under his father's chin quietly. ]
