who: clark kent, lois lane, kara danvers, jon kent + guests
what: the superfamily moves into a supermansion (okay, it's more of a cottage).
when: the move is early to mid-may, guests may come by for the latter half of the month.
where: the supercottage.
warnings: family shenanigans?

[ clark has found a house for his family. kara and jon have bedrooms upstairs, on the ground floor there's a kitchen, a living/dining room and lois' bedroom/study. there's a basement that will eventually feature a pool table or similar but for now is pretty empty.
supers, feel free to write your own starters for moving shenanigans, domestic things, getting used to living together, having guests over, etc. ]

i.
After awhile, his hesitation seemed ridiculous and his excuse became small. Kara had been kind to him and he wouldn't mind seeing her again or the place that she had moved to. Without Ghost, there was no one to make the walk with, so he set off alone.
When he approached her home, he spied her outside painting. He waited a moment, watching her image bloom to life, colorful and bright as she was. He hated to disturb her, but a part of him wanted a better look.]
That's very good.

Hey! I wasn't sure if you'd come. It's good to see you. How are you doing?
( Any composure she'd had almost flees from her when he compliments her work. Kara takes in a deep breath, and glances back at the painting, brows furrowing again. )
Thank you. Though the colour of the house still isn't a match.

I'm well enough. You seem to be at home.
[He couldn't really see the difference in the colors, but took her word for it.]
What will you do with the painting?

As much as I can be. I miss my adoptive mother and sister, though. How are you liking your apartment?
( Oh, Jon. The way he ignores that question makes her grin again, and she rolls her shoulders in a slight shrug. )
Give it to my cousin and he might hang it up, I guess. Back in National City, I paint constantly.
( Her head tilts, as curiosity overtakes her. )
Do you have any hobbies like that?

[No more barracks.]
You're very talented. I don't know anyone with this skill.
[It was the first time he had seen anything so vivid and colorful. There were artists, but they were a thing for southron lords.]
No. I hunted with my brothers, but nothing like this.

( The flush is back, lending a bit of a pink glow in the apple of her cheeks. )
Thank you! Did you want one, too? Whatever scenery you want. I'm telling you, I was almost tempted to join the Art Guild.
( But it probably would have been Science, like her father. Those trips with him were the best part of her childhood. )
You should try some things then, and see how you like them. My cousin happens to be the best cook ever, for instance. The arts are more my thing.
( Dancing and singing, too. And photography. Her features lighten now, as she's struck with sudden inspiration, mixing white and green and blue globs of paint on the palette until the same pale aqua hue of the house's siding is achieved. Kara fills it in, and then leans back, grinning. )
This is gonna need to dry. Want to watch a movie or something for a while? You came, so we might as well hang out.

[Men he knew hated him.]
I... [He considers that, thinking of the one place he might want to see again.] I would. I don't have the coin for it, not yet.
I'm not sure how much of a cook I would make. The food at the Wall isn't considered edible to visitors.
[He stares at her in confusion.]
A movie?
