He startled to a stop and turned to find Richard in the room. ] Well, I'd hope so. [ No point in having lessons if he wasn't learning anything. He made his way to Richard, offering a hand for a greeting shake. ] Hi. I managed to come in a little earlier today, figured I'd put in a little practice while I waited.

[He reached out a hand to meet Kirk's, shaking it firmly. If pressed, he'd say the other man was rather impressive in how quickly he'd been picking up the steps. He was a fast learner, which made things all the more easy for Richard.]
