i. perimeter guard patrol
[There's nothing in the world to set Sigrun at ease like a good old military routine. It sucks, of course, being one of the regular guard again, doing regular patrols like a dumb grunt and taking orders. After being a Captain with her own squad for so long, it stings a little.

But the routine is good. Soothing to her deeply military soul. The pattern of patrols and the shooting range and training and eating in the mess is great for her mental health, and somehow, whenever she's out on a patrol around the edge of the Inhabited City making sure the wall is secure, whenever she's on her way back to the barracks, instead of tired, she's highly energized. Talkative.

Fellow guards are welcome to join her on patrol, or anyone can run into her at breakfast at a café or in the PG mess hall after a nighttime run around the wall.]
ii. carnivale
Sigrun has a top-level at Carnivale here!
iii. wildcard
If you're interested in threading with Sigrun, but not my prompts, feel free to throw me a random starter or send me a PM or message me on [plurk.com profile] caffemisto to plot something! I know my Perimeter Guard prompt doesn't have much of a hook and is pretty open-ended, so if you want to throw your character out there minding their own business, I'll have Sigrun approach them.

"With such creatures as these, stealth would be the smartest tactic." True, the crab like creatures were hardly intelligent, but the predators were and they had sharper hearing besides.

"Where I could say the same. Unfortunately, several times in the evening we had to stop several of these beasts from burrowing under the fense. Of course, we stopped them, but the smell and sounds did attract even more unwanted attention."

The server arrived with a small tea service and mug. Normally, she preferred her tea black, with only a little sugar, but this called for the full treatment.
