PHANTOMTAKER HOUSEHOLD - mingle (visitors, family, OPEN)
In the back of the room is a black upright piano. The keys are covered when not in use but there's sheet music sitting on it and the bench is still moved from its last use.
Next to the living room is the kitchen. It has all the usual appliances, a small table with four seats, what looks like a hallway splitting off from it but the door is shut. Nothing interesting there. No, really. One cabinet in the kitchen will be filled with an almost obnoxious variety of teas.
Feel free to all on one of the residents and visit.

It's his day off and the sun isn't even up yet, and here he is, awake before it ever rises. What is this sorcery?

"Nn- 'Taker?"
no subject
"It's early. Rest a while longer if you want."
no subject
"I don't remember falling asleep. I had wanted to finish a paragraph in my book..." And another little yawn.
PRE-SURGERY
Could you visit? I have a medical question for you. I'm sure Undertaker and my father would like to be included as well.
C. Phantomhive.
If she agreed, she'd find the teen at the house without his eyepatch for once.

Knocking on the front door, she waits with some trepidation outside.
sorry for the late!
"Thank you for coming."

Finding the words now though? That's much harder than making the choice to go through with something like this.
"I suppose I should just... say it." He takes a breath. "I wonder how you would feel if I asked you to remove my eye?"

"Of course. Please, make yourself comfortable. I can start tea... or something. If you'd like."

The water doesn't take long and he carefully brings the water and the cups out on a little tray.
"I wasn't sure what you might prefer."

"I like stronger black teas. My butler would make me a strong tea to wake up each morning. It's a habit we've kept up here, even without Sebastian."

"I'm actually familiar with Earl Grey. The current one, at least. He's one of the Queen's butlers."

"I actually understand very little about the Double Charles. They call themselves Her Majesty's butlers and secretarial officers. They're usually given the task of delivering her orders for me."

It had seemed that simple back in England, at least. The Queen's willingness to punish Ciel's 'mischief' with Charles Grey framing him for murder though... his loyalty was justifiably called into question.
POST SURGERY
With pain though came a bit of moodiness and exhaustion. Much as he tried to rein the moodiness in though, it slipped out from time to time. He really hated being stuck in bed. He hadn't even stayed in bed, willingly, back in England when he'd gotten sick at the circus. With his father and Undertaker and Beverly handling his health though, there wasn't much of a choice.
(Two options here! You can visit him in the hospital or at home once he's released.)

At any rate, when he wakes up, she'll be in the room. Probably in a chair, arms folded and eyes glued to anyone who may come in to check on him.
no subject
He shifted a little on his bed, almost reaching to rub at his bandaged eyes and just barely stopping. It wasn't hurting for the moment and he had no desire to start that yet.
"Laura..?" His voice was still a little groggy but he was awake enough at least.
no subject
"Hello," she says quietly, just in case his senses are a bit too overloaded by the whiteness of the ceiling, or anything like that. "You don't have to stay awake if you don't want to; I can keep watch."
no subject
"I'm alright. I think I'll sleep plenty as I heal. I'd rather be awake for company."
no subject
All the while, her concern is evident in the focus in her dark eyes.
"What happened?"
no subject
"Nothing awful. I asked Dr. Crusher if she would remove my blind eye." And now here he was.
no subject
"¿Por qué?"
Why on earth would you want them to do such a thing? Her trust of doctors is so limited — though she admits Beverly has grown on her, thanks to the way she'd treated the hospital fiasco of times passed — and she couldn't even imagine being put under again like she had been so many times before.
no subject
"Keeping the eye... was more of a danger to me, in the long run. It was safer to remove it." He didn't have the energy, really, to explain the circumstances just then. And he didn't know how Laura felt about demons and contracting them.
no subject
"I did not know your eye was causing you so much trouble."
no subject
He manages a smile, tired as it might be. He'll be sleeping a lot, he's sure. "I'll be alright now."
no subject
That's at least one good thing, the fact that a dangerous situation (she wished she'd known about) was over and done with. And Beverly had been the one to do it. That alone is enough for her to be appeased, though she'll be much better once the boy's healed up and out of a hospital bed...
"If you would like, you can sleep. I'll be here reading."
FUNTOM TOYS & CANDY (FREE MINGLE)
Along the wall behind the registers are a display of the Bitter Rabbits they sell and they can be found around the store, as well as all their other toys. And, to the best of the founders abilities, they are all decently priced while still being soft and huggable.
