Perimeter Guard - Open CW Monster killing
When he arrived at work, he was still limping just a bit from his unrelated injury a week before, but he had stopped using the cane. Clocking in he moved off to go set about his work for the night. Despite his hurt leg, he offered to go into the forest with afew other guards.
It started off like any other walk through the woods. A hiss snapped everyone to attention. And cracks of branches. Jason's guns were up with the saftey off before the first monster could come forth.
"Come to daddy." He growled before firing to the beast launching forward as more shots flew from his guns.

As soon as there was an inkling of something hostile coming their way, Keith had pulled his blade. He wasn't using the bayard as much anymore, though he would occasionally use both blades if the situation called for it. Red crouched slightly, her tail shifting to point her laser in the direction of the coming attack. She fired at the same time as Jason, aiming to take down the creature before it could get close enough to the team that Keith needed his blade.

He had taken the time to pat Red on the head as they walked in the woods. Both lions were cool in Jason's book. That and he figured if the lions trusted Keith and Shiro, than Hana was in good hands with Shiro. Robo-lions know whats good. Firing the same time as Red, he flashed a devilish grin towards the lion as he fired a few more shots. Though the beast looked strong the combo of Jason's rounds and Red's Lazer's seemed to do the trick. The monster was down though an almost pained noise escaped it as it hit the ground still swiping it's claws.
"You or me, K, whose taking the kill?" He asked with little emotion figuring he needed to at least offer. Since he counted Keith as one of his circle of friends.

He yanked the blade free as he stood back up.
"Done."
Red, on the other hand, was very proud of their joint attack and how quickly the threat was dispatched. If she were able, she'd give Jay a hi-five. But hi-fiving a metal lion paw with razor claws probably wasn't a good idea...

"Good job." Jason spoke, a little colder than he usually is on the job, but he's doing his best. Yeah, probably not the best idea, but he did pat her on the head. Good killer robot, she's a pal.

Red swished her tail in response to the head patting. She definitely was good at killing things! She was a battle ship, after all. Designed for peacekeeping, yes, but that included being able to defend her Paladin. And sometimes that meant destroying the enemy.
After a moment, Keith did speak up again.
"You okay?" There was an odd, flat, coldness to Jason. Keith couldn't quite place it, but it did seem a little different from normal.
Wayne Manor - Housemates
He'd already broken into one of the bottle's which maybe wasn't the smartest when he had extended an invitation to Roy to live there but he wasn't going to lock up Bruce's booze when it was mostly for looks. With the mood he had had he just needed something to take the edge off.

But that all changes when he finds Jason in the entertainment room still bouncing the ball upside the wall and blaring music just like he had been when Wally had last seen him about an hour ago. Whatever this is, it isn't something Wally thinks he can ignore.
He lingers in the doorway for a moment, briefly considering getting Roy since the two of them are closer, before he decides against it and properly enters the room. He's not even sure Jason is aware of his presence as he makes his way over so he can turn off the music. In case the sudden lack of rock isn't enough to get his attention, Wally clears his throat for good measure. ]
Hey, I'm sorry for bothering you. I was just... thinking about going out for a bit. Is there anything you need?

The song dying had Jason spinning around to see what happened to the cd, forgetting about the ball a second as it whizzed past his head, missing him by an inch or so, by the time Wally's cleared his throat and spoke. His blue eyes look tired and irate at once. He didn't answer at first. Wanting to ask for a case of beer, but he bottle was enough, namely with Roy living there. He had to be responsible for both Roy and Jon's sake. ]
Whatever, it's fine. Uhh, not really, nothing comes to mind, unless yeah, Jon's going to need some things for lunch. I was going to go later.
[ By later he means yesterday... ]
Shit, what time is it Walls? [ He'd taken to the new nickname for Wally since moving, which was actually a good thing, nicknames usually came for those he considered important.]

The nickname and the way Jason asks him about the time has Wally's lips quirking up into a wry smile despite himself. ]
Having so much fun you lost track of time, huh. We still have an hour or so before dinner. Though some of us were starting to wonder if you were going to join us.
[ He picks up a short stack of CD cases lying on a nearby desk and begins to casually flip through them in an attempt to semi-distract himself from the conversation. Bats might not be good when it comes to talking about feelings, but they can read people pretty well, and he doesn't want the other man to know he's worried even if it's kinda obvious. ]
And don't worry about Jon's lunch. I can pick up a few things while I'm out. I think it's my turn to do the grocery shopping anyway.
[ It isn't, actually. But Wally doesn't mind picking up some of the slack like any good friend would do while Jason works through everything going on in his life. Losing family, no matter how it comes about, is never an easy thing to deal with as Wally knows all too well. ]

Wally was part of the family now, there was no escaping.]
Something like that, man, something like that. I havent decided yet if I want to but given its just a few of us we could probably get away with pizza again.
[ Most of the cd's were the cliche angry boy alt rock. The early 2000's verity. The stuff he liked before he died. Luckily flipping through the cd's does distract Jason from reading him.] My phone has more music but I wanted the hands on tonight. But yeah, give me a second, I'll write out the list. You can use the car if you want, I don't car.
[ He admitted, as he moved over to grab a pad of paper and started jotting down what was needed, his penmen ship was really nice all things considered. That came from Alfred helping him.]

[ While Wally has heard of a few of the bands and songs in the stack of cds he's flipping through, the majority of them are unfamiliar to him. Growing up in a house with his Aunt Iris meant he was forced to listen to the music she favored which was 90s bands such as Gin Blossoms and the Goo Goo Dolls among others. He would never admit it to her, but the stuff she listened to wasn't complete crap.
He casually nods along as Jason talks about his music until the mention of him taking the car has him looking up from the cds with another wry smile on his face. ]
You want me to take the car? [ He tilts his head, as if he's considering it. ] What a novel idea. I just hope I remember how to drive.
[ There's nothing to fear as he's only joking. Mostly. It has been awhile since he had to drive because, well, speedster. ]

[ Part of him wanted to ask for a drink, but god knows he didn't have a reason to run out at 3am he might crawl out of his skin. He hated when he got depressed. There was nothing to channel it into here, besides work, and with Bucky sick that didn't even sound fun.]
Well, it was an idea, you don't have to. You can probably run circles around it. Either way.
[ he tossed the mustang's keys Wally's way with a tired looking salute which was a bit extra as he walked over and held out the list.]

Ciel's Cafe A- for Ciel
His hair was a bit damp from his nap and he still had his guards uniform on, and the guns straped to his side as he made his way inside with a yawn. Ordering some Tim level coffee. Dropping at a table he laid his head down on the table waiting to hear the name he told them.
defessus mortem Tired death...

The teen saw Jason come in, saw how tired he was, and frowned a little. Jason had fretted about him being exhausted and potentially getting sick, even if he'd been right and Ciel had actually gotten sick. So he stepped over to comp the drink, grabbed a muffin, and made his way over to Jason's table.
"You look like you may keel over."

Looking up at the sound of the shoes, and Ciel's voice he offered a tired smile. "I may just do that soon." He admitted, taking the drink with a nod of thanks. "Thanks Ciel, and I promise its not as bad as it looks, I just haven't been to sleep since I got off work last night. I had to drop Damian off to be sent home." His youngest brother, but even if he didn't like it he would rather no send the kid off on his own without someone to see him off. "And Jon gets out of school in a couple hours if I sleep now, I wont be able to go pick him up."
no subject
"Since last night." His tone went a little dry at hearing that. Ciel shook his head faintly, something like that and he knew he would have gotten an earful from his friends. "There's no one you could ask to go and meet Jon? A couple hours could make a difference in whether you get yourself killed in a traffic accident or not. And I doubt he'd appreciate that."
Ciel's Cafe B - For Undertaker
"Did you hair get longer, Undertaker?" He asked amused.
aaaaaa
"I would imagine so. I haven't had it trimmed since I arrived. Do you think I should take a few inches off?"

He lifted the shades just before taking a drink from his soda. "Yours is looking pretty cool to, Lyle." He should have guessed that it wasn't Lyle... Lyle had two eyes, and a twin afterall. But accidents happen.

"I'm standing on the only ride I've got," he quipped with a good-natured smile to show there were no hard feelings for the mix up. "You must know my little brother, yeah?"
