Ed is not expecting company. With Jay busy taking care of the kids and everyone else gradually disappearing he's almost entirely used to being alone, and the place was pretty big to be alone in. In fact it was the moment he'd walked into the living room to consider maybe just closing this place up and setting up in the loft permanently instead that he found the young blonde girl.
She looked familiar. Ed knew Freya as a human, but in that moment he didn't exactly make the connection. He doesn't say anything, golden eyes narrowing curiously from the doorway to the kitchen. He had made that space for Laura with the arcade games, but if this girl had been invited there she'd gotten lost on the way or wandered further than she should have.
