who: Jason Todd what: Jason adjusting to the changes in his life, the loss and return of friends new and old, and other such adventures. when: April 1st - 20th where: The Kent House and around the Perimeter. warnings: Will update.
Clocking in for the night shift, Jason went to collect his asignment. Tonight wasn't to hard, not that he was complaining after complaining about being bored back in the winter he learned his lession there. The shift went mostly without a hitch. So, when break time came, Jason was leaning against a wall playing on his phone to kill time.
Keith was there clocking out for the night, actually, right around the time of Jason's break. He spotted him, noticed the phone, and smirked a bit as he walked up, followed by the much bigger Black Lion this time instead of Red. He didn't usually spend a lot of time around Black, but Shiro wanted to make sure the two of them were okay working together after Keith had gotten the memory canister a few months ago.
Jason enjoyed getting to see Keith when he could, having switched to nights just before he ended up moving in with his brothers, he had had a harder time keeping up with his friends of late. "Nah, one of the oldest." He spoke without looking up. "Playing Tetris." He spoke as he kept tapping his screen. "Isn't that Shiro's lion? Where's Red?"
"Huh... I didn't think they even had that game here."
Keith glanced back at the Lion for a moment, and then nodded.
"Sort of. Shiro was bonded with Black first, but that memory canister I got a while back? Well, turns out Black was willing to accept me, too, when Shiro went missing," he explained. "Since Shiro wants me to be his second on Team Voltron, he wants to make sure the two of us can work together, so he suggested I start taking Black with me once in a while."
Though, technically, right now, with the canister update, Red wasn't really his, either. Keith didn't have a Lion. But that was a whole other longer story, and Red had decided to keep her bond with Keith since Lance wasn't in town.
