Bucky certainly isn't judging. If not for personal preference, it's a habit he could have picked up pretty young too. It's not like he had a lot of daily supervision on the base after his father died, and he did do things other people probably wouldn't be too proud of (namely his entire black market business during those days). The question makes him shrug. "Can't say exactly. Mid-thirties?" Being frozen off and on for several decades makes age kind of a nebulous thing. "It's a long story. I was born in 1925." That much, at least, he has solid.

A pause. "I don't think you're an irresponsible jerk. Even if it wasn't your kid brother, you're doin' the right thing taking care of him regardless. Nobody can fault you for that." It's the exact opposite of being irresponsible. "I get it. It's an important job. Can't just leave it to anybody. Just don't burn yourself out, alright?"
