Mhm, I know I haven't done any fighting or anything since we killed Nyx. And Yu seems like he's a bit rusty too. Plus, the more the merrier, and all that.

That sounded good, right? Really, Makoto was only used to being in charge out in the field. He'd never really been the one to plan a lot. He would tell Fuuka or Mitsuru when he wanted to head into Tartarus and they'd all go. Or they'd get everything prepared for the Full Moon operations.

Nyx...? Something for him to note, and maybe ask once he felt he knew Makoto better. They were just preparing to fight their way into the cognition of Tokyo before he arrived. Akira frowned more as he debated on how to exactly answer the text.

Are you on the defense force? They're the only people that need to worry about it. Right?

He presumed it was untrue - he expected it to be untrue. But, he felt like he needed to know Makoto's intentions. Akira knew he wasn't the easiest to trust after what Shido did. It took him awhile to open up to others. But, once he did? He never left their side. They'd win him over for life.

I mean, I'm with the Perimeter Guard. So we won't get into any trouble. I think even regular citizens can go out anyway? At their own risk or I think they can ask for an escort. I'm still learning how this works.

Everyone keeping up some training is probably a good idea though.

Like some freak virus that somehow only affects the Guard or something. Really, Makoto liked to be as prepared as he could be. He'd been caught off guard too many times back home during the Dark Hour. Mitsuru and Akihiko would probably be proud of him being so pragmatic about this.

... Is there anywhere to explore here? A place they wouldn't run into us training at?

He liked the idea of privacy. He was used to doing things in the shadows; not having his own abilities tied back to him. The other two had somehow figured out his own abilities. Even stranger, they seemed to have it as well. Just like someone else he knew once.

I figured a little outside the city would give us the privacy we need while still have the security the wall provides.

Yeah, Makoto definitely understood that. He liked privacy himself, which made his accommodations a bit annoying. So he really just went there to sleep.

Akira simply hoped this wasn't going to come back and bite him. Like Akechi could have. Maybe it was time for him to be a bit more trusting of the other two apparent Persona users.

He wouldn't blame Akira for his distrust. Before he'd moved back to Tatsumi Port Island, he never let himself close to people before. Once he had warmed up to S.E.E.S though-

Makoto made sure to grab sword and Evoker before heading to the meeting spot. He even pulled on his Gekkoukan uniform out of habit.

Akira arrived only a few minutes after Makoto did. He hadn't tried any of his abilities since he arrived in Riverview. After all, they were based in the Metaverse. Riverview was strange and unusual, but it wasn't the collected subconscious of humanity. He gave a firm nod to Makoto and toyed with the hair that came between his eyes. This was... going to be interesting.

Hopefully the presence of other Persona users would kickstart his own outside the Metaverse. Makoto hadn't really used his outside of the Dark Hour. They were all fairly unique among their peers as well, that could work in their favor.

"Hey." He raised a hand in greeting. "Glad you made it. With three of us, it'll be much safer if anything goes badly."

He wasn't expecting anything like that but better safe than sorry. And it was a chance for them to learn to work together.

Akira nodded. "Makoto," his hands slipped into his pant pockets. "Do you have a hard time controlling them?"

He had seen when people's Shadows went berserk. It created Palaces... but he was wondering what sort of risks could happen here in Riverview.

"I've never had trouble." It came easily, the words, but then he stops himself and thinks. Then shakes his head. "Actually, I lost control once. The first time I summoned Orpheus, Thanatos ripped himself out of him and absolutely destroyed the shadow that was attacking our dorm. After that though, nothing ever went wrong."

And he knows of other instances where Persona-users lost control of their Persona's. Such as Chidori and the there was Shinjiro...

"I think we're safe from losing control but better safe than sorry."

"Even when we're not where... we normally are?" Akira frowned.

He realized then that he wasn't sure how or where Makoto operated when it came to Personas. Were they also in the Metaverse? Was there something that happened there before his time? He looked to the side in thought.

"Right."

Did he mean not on Earth? It was all he couple think of, since Shadows were there and he hadn't seen any since he'd arrived.

"Yeah. I was surprised too but when I woke up and really got settled with being here, I could still feel Orpheus and Messiah with me." That had been such an enormous comfort. Even more so when he'd realized that he could still summon them for aid."

He'd have been kind of lost without Orpheus, at least. He had been with Makoto since the very start, it felt wrong not to have him through everything else.

Well, the Metaverse was on Earth...

"I know Arsene is still here," Akira nodded. "But, it feels like I'm missing some."

He knew he was missing some. Still, he wanted to know what the others were capable of. How many could they hold? Was he different from them - or were they truly all that similar?

A slow nod and Makoto reached towards his own chest. He could acutely feel the absence of everyone else. It was a long time since he last had to deal with having just two Persona with him. At least it was two he felt close to though.

"Orpheus and Messiah stuck with me. Kind of took the Compendium for granted, now that I think about it." He could almost hear Elizabeth or Igor giving him a gentle berating for that.

Almost.

"Is Arsene all you have now?" He couldn't help but ask, he was genuinely curious though!

There was a shared nod at that. He too took too much advantage of his bonds and his Compendium. Although, with that mention...

"You had a Compendium too?" His head tilted. "No. Arsene, Daisoujou and Black Rider."

Oh man, he had more than Makoto had arrived with as well. He really needed to find a way to get some of his Persona back. Then again, at least he was comfortable with the two he had.

"I did, yeah. Elizabeth handled it. Sometimes she made requests to guide me towards how to fuse some of my Persona's." He gave a little nod. It had been so easy to just trade yen he collected in Tartarus for one of them... what did Elizabeth and Igor do with all that, anyway?

"Elizabeth?"

Akira blinked, his eyebrows turning up ever so slightly behind those thick glasses of his. It was a name he hadn't heard of before. The twins mentioned sisters, but...

"Not Justine and Caroline?"

They could share the surprise over their Velvet Room attendants. Makoto couldn't help but stare a little.

"Two attendants?" He kind of knew that Elizabeth wasn't the only one, she was still young, and she knew so little about his world that he had to have been her first guest.

"Uh, yeah. Just Elizabeth and Igor."

Akira gave a firm nod at his question. He shifted his weight from one foot to another. "Igor fashioned himself a prison master... and Justine and Caroline the wardens. They tasked me with making stronger Personas.

"Did Elizabeth....?"

Oh wow, that was definitely kind of weird. He couldn't imagine the Velvet Room being a prison. Especially with how kind, if strange, Igor had been.

"It was an elevator for me." He tilted his head a little, wondering. "Did she what?"

Igor... kind. It wasn't something that Akira would call Igor. He wasn't quite aloof either, but he seemed more like a chessmaster waiting for certain things to happen. He blinked a few times in thought.

An elevator.

"The Velvet Room can change how it looks?" He raised his eyes back to the other Wild Card, as if to confirm his theory. "Did she ever mention other attendants?"
