[ Jim waits until Lucy goes back into the flat and leaves the two of them alone, heaving a soft sigh. His shoulders relax, and he smiles a little easier at Victor's words. ]

There's nothing for you to be scared about. [ He tugs a little at the front of Victor's shirt, leaning in and stealing a quick kiss from his lips. ] And it's fine. Really, I promise. I mean— I wish I'd called before randomly showing up, but that'll teach me not to do it again.

[jolting]

[he sighs at the kiss but doesn't press for more. He wants to, but time and place]

You know, any time you feel like blindsighting me with some sort of craziness from your life, feel free. I'm feeling a little left out.

[he's sort of kidding, but sort of not at the same time]

[ Jim opens his mouth, closes it again, eyebrows knitting slightly. ]

Well, actually... there is one thing. You'll probably find it interesting more so than anything, though.

[ Considering this is Frankenstein he's talking to... ]

But maybe I can tell you another time. It'll hold.

[jolting]

Tease. But I'll look forward to it, whatever it is.

[he leans in for another kiss. It's affectionate, just deep enough to tide him over until he can get a larger chunk of alone time]

[ Jim laughs at the playful accusation, grinning against the kiss for a moment, before he's pressing back into the touch. He cups Victor's face for the brief moment they get to have, then he pulls away with a hum, licking Victor's taste from his lips. ]

I'll be waiting for that call.

[ With a wink he pulls away from the door, then turns around once Victor closes it again. ]
