"Well... you're not alone in it this time," Keith offered. "I'm here, too." His tone got a little wry at his next comment. "That's better than alone, right? I'd like to think so."

Lola smiled and just leaned against Keith as a response. She wasn't sure what to say, plus it meant she could hide how worried she was. Cause, it was nice. Him being here.

And it'll suck when he's gone.

Keith smiled a little in return and reached his hand across to take hers. If she just wanted to stay here and lean on him like this, then okay. He'd do that. This was her dream, after all. He'd follow her lead. He gave her hand a light squeeze.
