who: Otabek and Yuri.
what: A motorcycle and feelings.
when: 4/13.
where: Outside community housing.
warnings: Probably feelings.
Otabek had gotten the message to meet Yuri, which, after everything that had happened at Yuri's surprise birthday party, surprised him a little bit. He hadn't been upset or hurt by anything that had happened, of course. He wasn't the type to be upset or hurt easily. Otabek kept himself busy in this time, which made the temptation to reach out and ask him if he was okay a dozen times easier to resist. He preferred to let him have the space he wanted, and he would come to Yuri when he was invited. But that wasn't saying it was easy to keep himself from reaching out. And then, Yuri initiated the contact. Otabek was happy that he was going to have an opportunity to spend some time with his friend again.
Plus, he had some gifts that he wanted to give Yuri, still. He had only given him two of the things he had picked up for him at the birthday party (a hoodie with cat ears, and a pair of motorcycle gloves). He still had a couple of shirts (among them was one that was reminiscent of Yuri's exception skate outfit - minus the slashes in the back of the shirt), and a pair of shoes with leopard print. He found that he enjoyed shopping for his friend. He never really had anyone to shop for before. He decided that he would bring these with him.
He dressed neatly - black jeans, a black t-shirt, a leather jacket, and a dark grey scarf. He brought his phone and the gift bag for the other as he made his way out of the community housing, and he headed to the front of the building, where he and Yuri would meet for the day.

Yuri looked exactly as Otabek expected him to. Not that different from when they first met. He lifted one hand to brush through his hair as he approached the other, his other holding tightly onto the bag he carried with the remaining things for Yuri. He lifted up one hand in greeting.
"Of course," he said, "I still had a couple things to give you." He handed the bag to Yuri. There was an awkward pause. "Things I wanted to give you one on one..." And not with an audience like Viktor or Yuuri would have been a couple nights ago.

"Oh my god Otabek, this is too much stuff!" Yuri exclaimed, drawing out the sweater and the shoes first, now positively beaming despite himself, shaking his head in disbelief, "I can't believe you-" and then he realized the hoodie had cat ears, and his eyes went saucer wide. "Oh. My. God. Otabek!!! This is the BEST!" he exclaimed, dropping the bag for a moment in order to clutch the sweater close, and then sling his arms over the other's shoulder, hugging him tight for a moment.
"Thanks. You didn't have to- but thank you. This stuff is awesome," he grinned. Momentarily forgetting the whole purpose he had called Otabek down for.

He returned the hug, holding onto Yuri for a moment. The joy he brought his friend wasn't lost on him. The smallest smile crossed his features, and his face got a little red. His arms tugged Yuri into a hug for a moment, holding him there only briefly. He didn't want to make the hug be too long.
"I've never really celebrated birthdays. I wanted to, Yuri." He enjoyed shopping for his friend and getting him things. He was going to do it more often.

"I got something for you, too- uh, sort of anyway," he blushed, suddenly looking a little more humble, and fidgeting. Reaching down to pick up the bag again, and pack away the shoes and hoodie carefully so they wouldn't get too dirty, already looking forward to wearing them.
"Come on," he reached out, grabbing the other's hand, and tugging Otabek to follow.
