who: Otabek and Yuri.
what: A motorcycle and feelings.
when: 4/13.
where: Outside community housing.
warnings: Probably feelings.

Otabek had gotten the message to meet Yuri, which, after everything that had happened at Yuri's surprise birthday party, surprised him a little bit. He hadn't been upset or hurt by anything that had happened, of course. He wasn't the type to be upset or hurt easily. Otabek kept himself busy in this time, which made the temptation to reach out and ask him if he was okay a dozen times easier to resist. He preferred to let him have the space he wanted, and he would come to Yuri when he was invited. But that wasn't saying it was easy to keep himself from reaching out. And then, Yuri initiated the contact. Otabek was happy that he was going to have an opportunity to spend some time with his friend again.

Plus, he had some gifts that he wanted to give Yuri, still. He had only given him two of the things he had picked up for him at the birthday party (a hoodie with cat ears, and a pair of motorcycle gloves). He still had a couple of shirts (among them was one that was reminiscent of Yuri's exception skate outfit - minus the slashes in the back of the shirt), and a pair of shoes with leopard print. He found that he enjoyed shopping for his friend. He never really had anyone to shop for before. He decided that he would bring these with him.

He dressed neatly - black jeans, a black t-shirt, a leather jacket, and a dark grey scarf. He brought his phone and the gift bag for the other as he made his way out of the community housing, and he headed to the front of the building, where he and Yuri would meet for the day.

He would deny being anxious about this, but Yuri certainly felt it. He had wondered if seeing if the Perimeter guard could get him such a thing was- well, a little too much. He hadn't even known if they would, or could- but then there it was. The keys handed over to Yuri, and his heart in his throat. No take backs now, he supposed.

There had been nothing else for it but to message Otabek, and to give it to him. Simple, right? No big deal between friends. An apology for Yuri's wild outburst the other night, and his inability to articulate why it had pissed him off so badly. He hadn't wanted to act like that in front of Otabek, but everything that Viktor and Yuuri had told him- it had just been a little too much. And they didn't seem to understand...

It still bothered him, truth be told. Was still weighing heavily on his heart, leaving him feeling high strung; emotional. For now though, he was doing his best to tamp it down. To not allow it to get to him, because Otabek was there, and he deserved better.

Leaning against the building with one hand in his hoodie, and the other gripping his phone was the unmistakeable Yuri Plisetsky. He was wearing a black hoodie with leopard print highlights; a little unzipped and revealing a loose fitting black crew neck top underneath. He was chewing the inside of his cheek, his own black jeans artfully ripped, and showing flashes of pale skin. His sneakers were the red leopard print variety, and overall Yuri looked very much the punk ass kid he liked to portray.

He looked up as Otabek approached, saluting the other with two fingers, and pushing off the wall.

"Hey," he greeted, his frown softening into something more friendly, bumping his elbow gently into Otabek's in greeting, "Thanks for meeting me down here,"

Hearing that the other had more gifts to give him made Yuri's features heat, tinging pink. For it, he glanced away, huffing out a breath and murmuring, "You didn't have to get me more stuff, you didn't have to get me anything," and shuffling from one foot to the other, bending his right at the knee and setting it against the wall behind him as he slumped down slightly, embarrassed, and touched. He couldn't help but smile, just a little as he finally moved to take the bag, unable to quite help himself as he peeked inside.

"Oh my god Otabek, this is too much stuff!" Yuri exclaimed, drawing out the sweater and the shoes first, now positively beaming despite himself, shaking his head in disbelief, "I can't believe you-" and then he realized the hoodie had cat ears, and his eyes went saucer wide. "Oh. My. God. Otabek!!! This is the BEST!" he exclaimed, dropping the bag for a moment in order to clutch the sweater close, and then sling his arms over the other's shoulder, hugging him tight for a moment.

"Thanks. You didn't have to- but thank you. This stuff is awesome," he grinned. Momentarily forgetting the whole purpose he had called Otabek down for.

He gave the other one extra tight squeeze in thanks, before finally letting go, backing off and dragging his fingers back through his hair, smiling brilliantly. With this action, it was hard to miss the mottled purple bruising along his knuckles, though. All but forgotten about by Yuri, not a concern to him when he was mostly just excited to give the other his own gift.

"I got something for you, too- uh, sort of anyway," he blushed, suddenly looking a little more humble, and fidgeting. Reaching down to pick up the bag again, and pack away the shoes and hoodie carefully so they wouldn't get too dirty, already looking forward to wearing them.

"Come on," he reached out, grabbing the other's hand, and tugging Otabek to follow.
