Let's have an adventure
who: Jason Todd
what: Jason looking for clues to his informants death, and general day in the life stuff.
when: After New Years
where: An alleyway near one of the cheap bars, the bar, the library.
warnings: violence under one of the cut prompts, will update if more come.
A: Alleyway CW; cut for violence.
A second body had appeared in the same fashion as his old informant, and Jason was no longer sick as a dog. So, he was back in his red hood gear and running along the night streets down by the old bar he liked to hang out in. Following whispers and clues. There was a pattern and both victims had been part of the same outfit. A new group that didn't seem to be very talkative.
It was only when he got his hands on one of the guys he often saw with both dead men and had him cornered in the back of an alleyway. His gloves were already bloody from the number of times he had punched the idiot in the face. Maybe he did take a little to much after Bruce in that reguard but results were results.
"Answer the question!" He yelled through the helmet punching him again. Only, the man didn't answer, he lost consciousness as the Hood kicked the unconscious body. He was hitting walls at every turn. Moving quickly down the alleyway for his bike.
B Exploring - for Wally
It had been a couple weeks since Jason's flu had been passed and he was back on his feet and back to work. He had been shocked when he saw he was set to work with Wally West. He actively tried to avoid people he knew of from back home when he worked, but Wally turned out to be pretty cool. So it wasn't all that bad and it gave an excuse to talk to the man.
Looking over the map he walked along with him, in his guards uniform, the large guns hanging from his side, and a black knife in his belt. "Looks like we have to turn up here." He muttered, bored but he knew better than to complain after having found a body of a friend last time he complained about being bored at work. The trail they were on was heading towards the ruins.
C: The Dive bar
The evening had passed in its usual manner, quick and loud. Jason had already played about five games of pool, and a few hands of cards. He knew he needed to head home, it was already well after midnight, but he was waiting to see if anything unusual happened. He was tracking those that frequented the cheap run down bar. Looking to see if any of the regulars vanished... and tracking the underground business happening as well. Most of the patrons were already leaving as Jay sat at the bar pleasantly buzzed nursing a beer just taking in the whole feel of the place, not quiet ready to return to the communal floor.
D: The Library & Streets
Dressed in the red hoodie that Hana gave him for Christmas, and some black jeans over sneakers, Jason was standing before one of the shelves in the library looking over different books. Each was fiction, one was one he had read before, another was completely unknown to him but sounded interesting. While both were optional he still stood there awhile looking between the two.
Some time later, Jason headed out after having checked out both anyway, shoving them into his messenger bag and starting down the streets, The red and black umbrella, he had bought a few months back was lifted over his head as he walked quietly through the rain. While part of him felt silly carrying an umbrella, the rest of him didn't want to risk getting sick again so soon. So he walked his way back to the communal building.

I wasn't angry as much as disappointed, you know. I believed you'd have faith in my better side, and then it sounded as if you knew me not at all; like I was a passer-by on the street.

[ He asked steeling his gaze, though looking to the mirror behind Loki as well, wondering if their was a reflection to the magic.]
Fine, alright. [ He lifted the hand holding his drink and pointed at Loki.] I don't even know why your mad. Its not like I asked something end all or accused you of something terrible. I asked a question, and maybe it was out of line, Loki, but shit I wanted to have open communication with you. Not to grill you about who or what your doing.
[ He took a drink, trying to not let any emotion show, but his eyes always gave him away. It hurt to know Loki thought that, but he hadn't done well in the conversation at all. ]

You assumed I had sex with a virgin for the Hel of it, then declared you had every right to think the worst of me. Of me, your friend. You seriously don't understand why I was mad about that?

When you put it that way, I do sound like a bastard. Look, let me explain my point of view here. Leave N out of it for now. [ He didn't want to drop Nico's name and give anyone who might overhear an name.] You do what and who you want, and I do the same. That is how I assumed this worked. I just hadn't been with anyone but you, so I wanted to know if you had only because I like to know where my current partners go. I got mad, and I lashed out, I didn't really mean to be a dick.

It didn't occur to you to come to me before you worked yourself up, and ask then?

[ He made sure to have eye contact as he said it.]

[ The astral body straightens, colours draining into the same translucent green to look more like a hologram. ]
Stop avoiding Trixie.

[ He took another drink from his glass.]
You realize, I have always come here right? I only go to Trixie for you.

[ The astral form vanishes like smoke, unseen. And yet, the bartender seems to think Jason has helped himself to a shot when he sees the bottle and used glass. Oops. ]
