Christmas Eve - Magnus

[The Christmas Eve festivities had faded and most of the family had wandered off to bed. Alec hadn't been ready for sleep and he doubted Magnus wanted to rest when this is their first Christmas together as husbands. Since he couldn't bring himself to spend the night away from his family on the holiday, Alec had planned for something simpler instead.

He made a pot of Magnus' favorite tea and made a tray of their favorite sweets along with a few savory snacks. They didn't talk about their life in Idaho much, but Alec missed the tea shop and reciting poetry to his husband. Taking the tray to the library, he sets it down on the table near the velvet couch. He arranges the vase of greenery, and red and white roses beside a wrapped present. When he's sure he has everything, he texts Magnus to meet him in the library.]
