(A)Coffeeshop Chilling
It wasn't often that Marinette did personal shopping - most of the time, her shopping was done to work on new outfits, some commissioned, some not. Nine times out of ten she tended to make her own outifts. She'd picked up a few things - mainly a warmer hat, some supplies and a pair of gloves. A once in a lifetime day off she gave herself, she was currently passing by a few cafes in contemplation. She hasn't emerged from her room in the past little while, busy working on things, but now that she was free she wanted to spoil herself. And any friends that passed by. Eventually she actually went into a coffee shop, taking a window seat, though she kept her attention on the walkway outside so she could flag down a friend if she saw one. Free snacks, .. or well, not -free- but it'll be her treat!

(B)Le Park
The park was quickly becoming her favorite place to go, especially when she wanted to clear her head, or just get a break from working. Doing pretty much anything bother than making clothes was right on the agenda for today. Thus, she has picked a spot at the base of a tree near the lake, a drawing pad braced against her legs as she idly sketched a picture of a little squirrel digging in the ground to find some food. At her side she had a small bag of peanuts, which after a moment of drawing, she dipped into to toss some nuts to the little critter. It's so cute~. Come feed snacks to little animals with her!

(C)Perimeter Guard Building
Shopping, Clothing making, Cafe chilling and Squirrel feeding aside, when she'd exhausted everything she could think of doing, she decided to swing by the Perimeter Guard -- as Ladybug, of course; the gal in red and black spotted wandered in amongst the others already there, waving to familiar and unfamiliar faces alike. She wasn't here to spar though, it was more likely she intended to go out past the wall today. Just a nice casual, harmless walk. By herself. ~~TAKE THAT FRANK CASTLE >:D wait don't pls don't ground me~~

The point is not terrorizing people with a smile, Ivar! Having friends! You know, the people you DON'T kill? Silly Viking. "That's surprising, there's usually a few monsters pushing their luck coming close to the wall this time of day, aren't there?" At least she thought there had been.

Frankly she was okay with not having to fight anything going out past the wall. It'll be a nice little walk in the park without it being a park!

Bah, that's boring. Much better to act like a holy terror around people and just show his true colors early on. That way people knew what to expect. "Usually. Maybe they're getting sluggish because of the cold?" There were some monsters that didn't even have fur out there and Ivar could only surmise they didn't want to put forth the effort of trying to break through when they were just trying to stay warm.

"You going out today?" He would have been more worried if he hadn't seen her during their training session. While she did seem a bit too soft for him, she did at least know enough to handle herself.

Damnit Ivar. If you keep being a holy terror you won't get any delicious cookies. She'd even make gingerbread men and you could bite the heads off! ... moving on.

"Yeah, but if it's been quiet out there, I don't think I'm going to need to go very far. I might just hit a high spot and scan the area to make sure there isn't anything about, and head back in." Probably from the top of the building or a tree.

Aw. He'd love gingerbread men too. Maybe Ladybug will be the one to teach him how to behave. Maybe she could get him a shock collar like a very angry dog.

"You shouldn't go out alone. Anything can happen," he chided her. The motto of 'Be prepared' hadn't started with the Boy Scouts, you know. Vikings knew the advantage of it too.

If she is, it will have to be marked on the calendar! ... oooh, maybe she could -make- a shock collar. He *IS* kind of like Cujo...

She's a little surprised by the chiding, really. "What...are you worried?" Really? Aww. He's not that bad a crazy lunatic maniac of a Viking after all. "You sound like Mr. Castle," Ladybug chuckles. "It's not the first time I've been out alone - and I'm not going far so I should still be fine. Besides, you said yourself it was quiet, right?" It can't be THAT dangerous out. Not like she's going to step outside and get ambushed by a freaking owlbear... right?

"I'm not worried. I'm just wondering how much indigestion you'll give a monster if it gobbles you up while you're out there." See, Ivar can't afford to show anyone he cares. That might constitute weakness and he can't afford to be seen as weak. But he is wondering if maybe he should go with her. Purely as backup, of course.

[ Not worried eh? SHE DOESN'T BUY IT. Geez, why can't guys be more honest. It still amuses her though, and she stifles a little giggle at the reasoning. ]

Oh, is that it? I don't think there's enough meat on my bones to interest a monster, but it's nice that you're looking out for their digestive tracts. [ Today is a day of firsts! Ivar not looking like a psychopath, and him even considering accompanying her. .... is he a pod person? ]

Nope, not a pod person, at least that we know of. Contrary to what most people think, there's layers to Ivar beyond just the crazy that's always lurking on the surface. He seems to present different aspects of his personality always depending on who he's talking to.

"Why don't I go with you? Just to make sure something with sharp teeth doesn't end up using you as a toothpick." See, Ivar does have care, waaaay deep down inside of him.

Wow. She's going to have to re-evaluate her opinion of Ivar. He is truly like an onion~! "Are you sure you don't mind? You were just coming off from your patrol already." She is kind of amused by the concern he was covering up though. Heehee. Claim it's for the beasties digestive tract all y ou like Ivar, we all know the REAL reason he's looking out for her.

Gingerbread Viking cookies.

"It's nothing. I've gone a lot longer without rest during battles back home." He could tell stories of his violent life as a Viking that would likely make Marinette's hair curl. Just so she wouldn't think he was losing his edge and all that.

Ladybug hid a grin, hands resting on her hips. So transparent, dude. "All right, if you're sure." She didn't mind him coming with her ... although she might regret that decision if they do run into something with pointy claws and teeth. Seeing him actually fight would undoubtedly make her cringe. "Let's go, then."

Just don't call him on it. He does have a fearsome reputation to uphold, after all. He gives a once over to make sure his weapons are all in order and then he nods. "Of course I'm sure. Let's go."

Let's hope it's a slow day. Otherwise, Ivar is definitely going to make her think twice about ever letting him go on a patrol with her.

Bah, he's probably nothing but a cuddly wolverine under the surface! Or maybe a honey badger. "All right then." She gave him the option of changing his mind, and she does like having company when she goes out on patrols. So they're off! This is surely going to be a walk in the park and nothing horribly traumatic will happen.
