(A)Coffeeshop Chilling
It wasn't often that Marinette did personal shopping - most of the time, her shopping was done to work on new outfits, some commissioned, some not. Nine times out of ten she tended to make her own outifts. She'd picked up a few things - mainly a warmer hat, some supplies and a pair of gloves. A once in a lifetime day off she gave herself, she was currently passing by a few cafes in contemplation. She hasn't emerged from her room in the past little while, busy working on things, but now that she was free she wanted to spoil herself. And any friends that passed by. Eventually she actually went into a coffee shop, taking a window seat, though she kept her attention on the walkway outside so she could flag down a friend if she saw one. Free snacks, .. or well, not -free- but it'll be her treat!

(B)Le Park
The park was quickly becoming her favorite place to go, especially when she wanted to clear her head, or just get a break from working. Doing pretty much anything bother than making clothes was right on the agenda for today. Thus, she has picked a spot at the base of a tree near the lake, a drawing pad braced against her legs as she idly sketched a picture of a little squirrel digging in the ground to find some food. At her side she had a small bag of peanuts, which after a moment of drawing, she dipped into to toss some nuts to the little critter. It's so cute~. Come feed snacks to little animals with her!

(C)Perimeter Guard Building
Shopping, Clothing making, Cafe chilling and Squirrel feeding aside, when she'd exhausted everything she could think of doing, she decided to swing by the Perimeter Guard -- as Ladybug, of course; the gal in red and black spotted wandered in amongst the others already there, waving to familiar and unfamiliar faces alike. She wasn't here to spar though, it was more likely she intended to go out past the wall today. Just a nice casual, harmless walk. By herself. ~~TAKE THAT FRANK CASTLE >:D wait don't pls don't ground me~~

"Squirrels, huh?"

Keith came up and leaned against the tree, amused, watching Marinette toss the peanuts out there. He'd noticed her sketching and came over to see what it was.

Marinette blinked in surprise, glancing over her shoulder at the familiar voice, and immediately grinned, "Keith! Hey~! Come to feed squirrels with me?" She offered, half teasing.

The drawing on the pad was pretty straight forward - arough sketch, not perfect by any means, of a squirrel digging in the ground. There's some other idle doodles as well - an outline of a female figure with a dress styled like maple leaves stitched together, and a men's figure on the other side with a few suit patterns and shadings.

... there's also a drawing of a squirrel wearing a peanut vest with a matching peanut cap. She was bored.

Keith smirked a little, and crouched down to join her after all. The clothing designs were pretty cool, actually, and he admired her sketches of the squirrels a little. He pointed at the one in the hat and vest.

"That's the best outfit of the bunch," he said, teasing a little.

Marinette burst into soft giggles at the teasing comment, and tapped the picture with a finger, "You know, if you want one for yourself, I can whip one up for you." She turned a little to hold her hands up as if framing him for a picture, "It'd be very chic, a whole new trend you could set~!"

Keith smirked a little.

"Right... do I need the fluffy tail and ears, too?"

He grabbed a peanut and tossed it out into the grass once the squirrel was aware enough not to have a bird steal it on him. It landed close enough, and the squirrel snatched it up. The shell had been cracked, though, so it started chowing down right there, turning its back to the two humans as if that would make it invisible or something.

Marinette lowered her hands a little, then raised her hands to her mouth, stifling a giggle. "Oh.. OH No that would be too cute~!" She stifled a laugh, "Would you actually wear it if I made one? I know you guys have to have your 'Cool' image." She teased. Though now she was imagining a cute squirrel hat and her hand was itching to sketch the design.

Ivar's just finishing up a shift when he spots Ladybug. He waves to the girl when he spots her. She's a decent partner to spar with, though that's not on his mind right now. He wheels over to her, a less intense expression on his face than he normally has. "What're you up to today?"

Far from the traditional princesses of lore, he varied from them in both gender and attitude, Noctis still possessed the same love of animals they often exhibited. The park itself was an idyllic place that reminded him slightly of the gardens in the castle which meant it blended into the other areas around the city in the prince's mind. More than anything the background, the girl with the squirrel stood out, a pop of color in the otherwise emotionally grey landscape.

Slowly, he approached, his feet quiet on the ground until he stands just out of reach distance. Without offerings of his own, Noctis didn't want to scare it away.

"Does it do that a lot?"

OH SWEET CRANBERRY CHRISTMAS-- oh wait, he isn't looking crazy today. Phew. Ladybug flashes a friendly smile back to Ivar and waves, because it's rude to run in the opposite direction screaming.

"Hey there~! Just thought I'd put some hours in - I've been pretty busy so I haven't been able to stop by the Perimeter Guard lately. You just finishing up?"

Anyone who liked animals was good people, so Noctis gets a warm smile of greeting when he approaches. "I think so - I think this little guy has been around people a lot, so he probably expects a hand out." She picked up the bag of peanuts and offered them to him. "Here~, do you want to feed it some too?"

Bah, he's not that scary, Ladybug...oh wait, yes, he probably is. Ivar's psychotic tendencies, fortunately, aren't always as close to the surface as the first time they met. He knows how to act like a normal human being. It's just so often he didn't see the point.

"I am. It was a slow shift." Disappointing for someone who loved to fight and kill the monsters as much as the teenage Viking did.

With the appearance of the offering, Noctis finished the last few steps, as if he was drawn in as easily as the squirrel. Bending his legs, he lowered his body until he could easily reach for a nut.

"Yeah, thanks."

With the center of his gravity still low, Noctis offered the small furry friend the snack.

"Are they all this friendly here?"

Marinette grinned as he accepted the peanut to feed the squirrel, watching the fluffy rodent come close enough to snatch the peanut out of his hand, then scamper away a short distance to nibble away the shell and get at the peanut inside.

"Not all of them, but this little guy is a bold one. He stole my sandwich a few days ago, when I was out here like this." She scratched her head, "I guess it was my own fault for paying more attention to my drawing than my food though." Ahah. She glanced at him again, curious. Hrm. She doesn't recognize him! So, friendly introductions are to be had, "My name is Marinette."

The point is not terrorizing people with a smile, Ivar! Having friends! You know, the people you DON'T kill? Silly Viking. "That's surprising, there's usually a few monsters pushing their luck coming close to the wall this time of day, aren't there?" At least she thought there had been.

Frankly she was okay with not having to fight anything going out past the wall. It'll be a nice little walk in the park without it being a park!

There's a familiarity in the setting, a looseness to his posture that isn't normally present during a first meeting. He feels at home among the animals. They're easier to understand, they judge based on what you do without caring who you are.

"Noctis."

With their furry buddy focusing on his food, Noctis claims the grass beside her in case he came back for more. One knee remains propped up and a hand behind him takes most of his weight.

"He must be pretty hungry to risk it. I wonder if the trees are bad."

Noctis' dark eyes move from tree to tree. Then, because the animals relaxed him and because Noctis is better with those younger than him:

"What are you drawing?"

"Nice to meet you, Noctis." She smiles lightly, shifting aside to make more room when he joins her on the grass. Idly rolling a peanut between her fingers, she watched the squirrel pensively, "I think maybe it's been a little tricky to get food. I wouldn't know how to tell if the trees are bad or anything - I mean, besides the obvious rotting and such." She glanced up, "But they look pretty healthy..?" She's no tree..ologist... so she can't say for sure though.

When he asks about her drawings, she chuckles a little, bending her leg a bit so she can tip the pad up and show him, "Clothing Designs -- uh..." she trailed off a little, glancing at her pad which DID have a few clothing designs, but there were also some random doodles, one of which was a squirrel in a vest and peanut cap. "... Mostly clothing designs." She grinned sheepishly, "I was kind of distracted and had writer's block. Getting a little air usually helps with that."

Bah, that's boring. Much better to act like a holy terror around people and just show his true colors early on. That way people knew what to expect. "Usually. Maybe they're getting sluggish because of the cold?" There were some monsters that didn't even have fur out there and Ivar could only surmise they didn't want to put forth the effort of trying to break through when they were just trying to stay warm.

"You going out today?" He would have been more worried if he hadn't seen her during their training session. While she did seem a bit too soft for him, she did at least know enough to handle herself.

"Eeehhh..." Keith had kind of been joking... "I don't knooooww..." He shrugged, looking back at the squirrel again and hoping she wouldn't ask.

Oh she was -totally- messing with him. And with that reaction she had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. SURELY he'd pick up that she wouldn't really make him wear squirrelly accessories right? She knows he's a bit... dense, but!

"I bet you'd look really cute~!" She grinned, leaning over to give him a playful nudge, "You'd sport a style that's all the rage in the squirrel kingdom, and even Mr. Fluffy over there would be jealous." She.. might not have been sleeping much lately, coming up with these bizarre thoughts.

Damnit Ivar. If you keep being a holy terror you won't get any delicious cookies. She'd even make gingerbread men and you could bite the heads off! ... moving on.

"Yeah, but if it's been quiet out there, I don't think I'm going to need to go very far. I might just hit a high spot and scan the area to make sure there isn't anything about, and head back in." Probably from the top of the building or a tree.

Keith pursed his lips a little, shifting his eyes just enough to stare at her judgmentally. Oh, yes... he was trying to figure this one out. Joking? Not joking? The nudge gave it away.

"Uh-huh," he responded, his tone somewhat flat. "What about you? Is there a girl's version?"

Oh god. If the nudge hadn't given it away the way she almost breaks into a fit of giggles the way he was JUDGING her would surely have. She pressed a hand over her mouth to stifle herself, glancing away. SNerrrk. "Huh? Oh yeah, definitely!" She glances back to Keith, picking up the pad again, flipping to a fresh page. "Here, I'll show you." Now that he got her all inspired with the idea, it's the least she could do right?

Plucking her pencil from behind her ear, she touched it to the paper and started to do a quick, rough sketch, her voice still amused but concentrating on her work now, "I mean, it's not a final sketch or anything, but it'd look a little something..." She trailed off a moment as she sketched a female figure outline, and then with a bit more focus, sketched a squirrel version of the outfit she had teased Keith about. A little squirrel cap-beret, tank top and jacket with a skirt, fluffy tail connected at the back, boots and squirrel paw gloves. "Like this." Hopefully Keith hadn't gotten bored, it had taken about ten to fifteen minutes for her to sketch the drawing, and it wasn't particularly detailed - just enough to get an idea of what the outfit would look like. "Cute, right?"

"Yeah, me either." He was never a gardener, and he didn't know a healthy tree from one about to die other than the obvious signs. Despite that, he'd read somewhere hungry animals became bold, either choosing to be aggressive or venturing out of their usual territory. Maybe it didn't matter, the squirrel looked happy.

Noctis knew even less about clothing. He wore it, he chose his own, but he'd never put any thought behind the process itself. His dark eyes study the drawings for a few seconds, idle thoughts going through his head.

"It's still called writer's block if it's an artist?" He's amused by the squirrel, more than with the clothes. "Do you make them? Clothes for animals?"

That's... actually a valid question, and one that makes Marinette blink in surprise about. "I... you know, I never really thought about it. I just .. I don't think there's a term for artistic block. At least it doesn't sound right if I were to say 'I have designers block' or anything." Hmmm.

"Wha- OH! No no," Marinette laughed, "I design for people sized clothing. I was just... bored, at the time, when I did this." She blushed sheepishly.

"I bet clothes would keep them warm in the winter. Even with the fur, the animals don't have outside heating."

It wasn't that Noctis was familiar with a trend in animal clothing, but someone had to start it.

"Artistic block sounds okay and covers everything." Noctis himself isn't overly artistic so maybe it's just a form of ignorance that he can't think of something better. "But if you're trying to think of clothes for people, shouldn't you be around more?"
