[Well, Keith had reassured Red plenty of times so who was for trying to reassure Black]

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be fine. Yeah, let's get a snack.

[Keith smiled a bit and headed into the kitchen, rummaging around a bit. He found some popcorn, so that would work as he poured some of it into a bowl they could share. He was tired of sitting, though, so he leaned on the kitchen counter, able to see out the door from where he was standing to watch the two of them play, and put the bowl between himself and Shiro. He leaned all his weight on his uninjured leg, and crossed the other over at the ankle.]

Well, if you ever find a day when you don't want to exercise the dog, I think you found someone to take care of it for you.

[He smirked a little.]

[Shiro joined him over at the counter, positioning himself so he could also see out the window. He took a small handful of popcorn and took a few bites of it]

Oh, yeah, definitely. They're both having fun.

[So everybody wins]

How's your leg?

[Keith shrugged.]

It doesn't really hurt anymore. It's just that the stitches are annoying, and they itch. [And still occasionally pull if he moves the wrong way.] I think I have to go back in a few days to get them out. They said it was healing fine.

Well, at least they are healing up fine. I know they can be annoying, but at least its almost over.

[He glanced over hearing Youta bark, but the dog was still playing happily in the yard]

Yeah... almost over.

[Keith turned and looked as well, watching the two of them. Red seemed really excited and happy, and that got a smile from Keith in response.]

I don't think I've gotten this feeling from Red before. It's kind of weird, but I'd definitely say she's happy out there.

It definitely looks like it. She's having fun. And with something so small by comparison.

[Shiro smiled. Yep, Youta was going to be just fine here]

[Keith smiled a bit and nodded.]

Now if only Black would go have fun...

[He smirked a little, not sure what the response to Shiro would be, but he was just teasing anyway.]

[Black kind of grumbled at that. Shiro didn't directly answer what Black had said, but he chuckled]

Try it, Black. It'll be fun. The dog just wants to play.

[Black kind of grumbled again, but got up and walked back towards the door. Would he go out? ... maybe. He stopped in the doorway]

[Keith was surprised the see the Lion even make a potential move towards doing it. He watched, and then smiled a little.]

Go ahead. No one's going to care. The house is safe.

[That was it, right? Keith wasn't sure, but he had a feeling.

Outside, Red paused and glanced back at the door to look at Black. She grumbled in return, swishing her tail in invitation. Come on. This was so different and yet fun at the same time! Give it a try!]

[That was it as far as Shiro knew. Black spent a lot of time guarding the house and had seen the lion's eyes in the darkened room when he had gotten up and headed down stairs when it was dark, perfectly positioned to watch both the front and the back door with relative ease.

When Black came to the back door, Youta spotted him. Tired puppy though he was, he barked and crouched, trying to invite Black to come play with them too.

After a long moment, Black joined them outside]

There we go.

[That got Keith to chuckle.]

I definitely never thought I'd see that.

[Then again, he never thought he'd see giant robot lions... or said lions being shrunk... or other worlds... or deep space and aliens... so, the bar wasn't exactly high here.]

Yeah never thought that I would see that either.

[Now in the back yard, Black is going to attempt to join Youta and Red in play, following Red's cue for how to play with organic creature]

[Extra excited now, Red coaxed Black out into the yard, showing the much larger Lion what 'game' they'd been playing. It was a little like tag where they chased each other around and either Red would lightly bop Youta with her tail, or Youta would bop her with his paws.

Keith smiled as he watched.]

[Youta was excited too. They had gotten the big... thing to come out and join them! Clearly they were having that much fun!

Youta demonstrated with Red first then when they had done that he ran over to boop Black. You are now a part of the game, Mister! Don't leave them hanging!

Okay then... Black decides to head after Red first, attempting to tag her.

Shiro smiled]

Yep, tag is definitely a thing.

[Red growled playfully, dodging and making herself hard to get.]

Yeah... it really is.

[Keith smiled, visibly amused as he watched from the counter.]
