[Her eyes narrow a little bit, as if trying to work out whether there is something he is holding back as he hasn't yet. Truth be told, she simply believes that he is doing his Avenger thing, and having his relationship with Jane. Does he know, she wonders, that the Son of Coul is alive? He had said that he had wanted to tell Thor himself.

But, she has always found him appealing, and that has not changed.]

And here I thought you may well have forgotten your friends on Asgard, enjoying your time on Midgard as much as you have.

[Although she has seen some of what the realm has to offer, twice now, although the second time in tracking down Lorelei had allowed her to see more.]

Please do tell me that they are not all as glittery...

That savours strongly of bitterness, Lady Sif.

[Thor points out, though it is in jest. He doesn't expect anyone to understand what he sees in Midgard, but Asgard is still worth everything to him. Especially when the people he cares for still reside there.

Hopefully.]

Many are! Once you touch this stuff, it is reluctant to leave your person. [Thor reaches a glittery hand out to flick Sif's cheek.]

[toopolite]

[Something stirs, and she likes it not. Not that she believes that Thor has been spending his whole time frolicking. She has had Heimdall look in his direction now and then, but a brightness is lacking in Asgard without him there. And perhaps not quite bitterness, but jealousy. Yet there is a matter of fact shrug of her shoulders.]

You know my thoughts on your departure, as I know yours for leaving.

[Her lips purse though, eyes narrowing, although it is clear that she is not truly angry or annoyed, and yes, she is a little amused. It doesn't stop her from giving a swat towards that hand.]

I've enough already, that I require no more.

[worldsaway]

[Thor accepts the swat, since he's more than aware that he deserved it. Of course, he also knows that dodging the first swat means the second swat will come harder and faster.]

You're right. What you require is a drink. Come, it's my treat. [He beckons her toward the crowds.]

[Which does mean there is still some glitter on her hand now, although considering Thor's own appearance, she still fares better than him. She does allow her eyes to linger though, taking him in, as if to see whether any of what he has done is readable on him. Times are changing, but some things will forever remain the same.

There is a light scoff at that, eyes brimming with mirth.]

Only a drink? I think I require a few more.

[worldsaway]

That's the spirit! [He places a hand on her back as he guides her forward, as they walk people will be trying to adorn them with bead necklaces and flower crowns. People are walking around with drinks and platters of food and Thor is quick to snatch up the two biggest and most obnoxious drinks he can manage to find.

He'll take a big swig of his quickly.]

You'll have to drink faster than that if you want to fit more than one in.

[toopolite]

[Attempts are made, although Sif soon finds herself with beads around her neck and flowers circling her head. It seems easier to leave one on, as no doesn't seem to be an answer that some understand.

A dubious look is given to the drink that he finds, and she arches an eyebrow.]

Of course they cannot have simply a cup of ale, can they.

[But, a drink is a drink, and she takes her own swig, before sputtering.] By the Norns.

[Thor waits for Sif to go ahead and swig it, then a wry smile starts to appear on his face. Her reaction is hilarious.]

It could barely be considered ale. It's colourful nectar. [But he's still drinking it.] But after a few, you start to feel it.

[toopolite]

I'm not certain that I desire to drink a few.

[Shooting him a look, although again, it lacks any true annoyance behind it. She can tell that he had been waiting for her reaction, and it appears to have amused him. Gingerly she takes another sip.]

And what of this realm, Thor? What should one be wary of?

[worldsaway]

Well, our hosts so far have been fair and just. I was wary of them, initially, but they have accommodated us well. People here for the most part are good, when they are not good they are reasonable.

[Thor shrugs, then considers.]

Loki is here, for example, and he's being reasonable. There are beasts beyond the walls, nothing we've not fought before, and occasionally there are strange occurrences. Seemingly beyond our control.

[toopolite]

[There is a soft grunt given at the name of his brother. Once bitten, twice shy, so of course her mind goes down the route that he is likely up to something. What, she would have no idea. Domination of this realm? Although how he would accomplish that is beyond her.]

What manner of strange occurrences?

[Sif isn't a plan of unexpected surprises.]

[Thor doesn't begrudge her reaction, he understands where it comes from. He still doesn't really trust Loki, they have a ways to go for that to happen.

Sif, however, can make her own judgments.]

We were met with a flurry of insects that could bite you and bring strange emotions upon you. There have been times where people were replaced with.. alternate? [He questions the term, then continues.] Alternate versions of themselves.

[toopolite]

So pestilence ridden bugs?

[You know, strange emotions, being sick... It is where her mind goes, even if it is not what Thor means. The latter though, try as she might, she cannot draw forth anything for it.]

Alternate versions?

[Meaning what, exactly.]

An... academic version of yourself?

[worldsaway]

Something like that.

[Not so biblical, but not pleasant.

At her quip, he gives her a playful shove.]

Very funny. No. Versions of themselves if something in their past changed. It was very peculiar and very confusing.

[toopolite]

[It earns a pleasant laugh from Sif, as it is about as far from Thor as she can think of. She rolls her shoulder, before giving her own nudge in return, although it lacks any real force behind it.]

I thought so.

[And she clearly still thinks so judging by the expression on her face. But it does turn reflective a moment later, weighing that.]

Something major, then?

[Like, perhaps, someone not having died.]

Yes, something significant. [He folds his arms over his chest in contemplation.] As I recall, Loki was altered into a gentler version or himself. Which reminds me, there are alternate times and planes of existence here. There are two Lokis.

[toopolite]

[She arches her eyebrow, waiting for him to continue. That isn't the answer that she is expecting, and Sif wonders just how true that is. Had he still betrayed?]

Ah. Twice the fun.

[worldsaway]

Twice the dramatics. One is much more amiable than the other, it will not take you long to figure out who that is.

Have they supplied you with employment, yet?

[toopolite]

I pray the one not known to us, lest he ever be considered more amiable.

[And she would rue the day that such is the case.

She nods though.]
