who: Jason Todd
what: More days around the city
when: 10-27/11-5
where: Floor Six, Perimeter Guard, Book Store, Rooftops and Riverview High.
warnings: None yet, will update.
Floor Six + Perimeter Guard
Jason had woken up in one of his moods, that much was clear by the way he sat at the edge of his bed with the covers half over his head like a cloak. Glaring a anyone and everyone that made any noise on the floor. It didn't help that he had only gone to bed a couple hours beforehand and it was a bad dream that jolted him out of his slumber.
Waiting to hear the shower kick off so he could steal the water also didn't help his mood when he saw the time and realized he was about twenty minutes later for work. The covers thrown back as he shuffled fast to tug on his guard uniform and strap his guns to his legs and tugged on his leather jacket as he rushed for the door forgetting his messenger bag by the bed.
After speeding on his bike through the city streets, barely getting by without getting caught by the police. He parked the bike and rushed into the headquarters. He still had healing bruises from the bar fight last week and he looked a mess but after some talking he made his way to get started on the days job.
Bookstore
Once he was free of the obligations of the day, Jason went to his favorite place, the little bookstore/cafe he often had lunch with Ciel at. Quietly moving through the shelves looking for something new to read that caught his interest. Stopping every now and then to look over the back of a book for a synopsis. It was the calm part in the day, just flipping through the pages of multiple books. He was still dressed in his uniform since he had forgotten his bag with the change of clothes and didn't feel like running home yet.
Once he found a book, he could he found at one of the tables nursing some coffee as he turned pages soaking in the simple lovely little story he had found.
Rooftop
Jason, no, Red Hood moved silently along the rooftops and back alleys. He was bored of laying low, of being good and letting the metas and other's handle everything. He missed the rush of it all. So even with his helmet on the fritz he moved as quickly and quietly as he could. Eventually he found himself with nothing to do sitting on the edge of a roof with the hood half lifted sipping a fountain drink while watching the city life below.
Riverview High School - Mostly Closed to Bruce Wayne
The last place a guy like Jason Todd needed to be was at a high school. He had never got to finish school himself, despite jumping from 5th grade drop out to top of his class at a Gotham private school within months of being taken in by Bruce. He and his adopted father had spent many nights after patrols talking about what kind of college he would go to, the path laid out for him, but he never made it that far. Never even got his GED when he came back. His vengeance had been more important, then life just swept him up.
He was only here for the same reason he had gone to that fancy school back in Gotham. For Bruce Wayne.
He was sitting outside, constantly looking at his watch, leaning on the hood of a rusted red 60's Mustang, dressed in dark jeans, a black t-shirt and a brown leather jacket. He wasn't sure why he had decided to stop stalking his father, and just approach him again, but clearly ambushing him at the end of a school day was better than approaching him at the communal housing.

Stepping forward he took Loki's hand and leaned in kissing his cheek. He knew that pose well enough. He squeezed the hand before shrugging.]
Well, I didn't guard a door, I actually got to walk through the woods today. Improvements all around. You look nice tonight. New jeans?
[ Not that he actually knew, or not. He just figured it sounded good.]

[ Chuckling warmly, he leads Jason to the sofa and sinks in beside him, an arm sliding around his shoulders as he folds his legs at an incline that puts his entire body-language focused on the other man. The club may as well be empty, Loki doesn't even glance at anyone else. ]
I ordered dinner, I hope you don't mind. Steak and wedges, extra if you're still hungry from your woodland adventures.

[ He teased, being in good spirits today. Finally managing to get a full nights sleep had done wonders for his mood. He can't help but feel a touch flustered despite their outings and times alone, having someone's full attention on him was always a little odd even when it was nice. Most times with Loki were nice.]
Sounds good to me. I love steak, and it as nothing big, just leading someone out to look around. I kept hoping for a monster attack but not today. Maybe tomorrow.
[ This was his life, hoping for monster attacks, and flirting with gods.]

Ah, the hard life of a hero when there aren't enough monsters to go around! Be sure to send me selfies once you do have an exciting time on-shift.
no subject
I'm not selfish, just one monster would do. Even a small monster. [ he teased before rolling his eyes playfully.] Do I look like a selfie type?
[ There's a selfie of him and Ciel on his phone, but that was different. That was showing off technology to a Victorian.] For you though, sure, just exciting on-shift stuff. Or you know if a hero trips.

[ That's when the food arrives as Loki coos over Jason. He drags the table closer and two large platters are placed down, a tray with a huge haunch of steak on it ready to share between them and a bowl of wedges in vegetables which Loki hits up first. ]
I'm not sure which beast we're enjoying tonight but the rest of the patrons seem to like it.
no subject
[ He teased a bit as he watched the Loki do his thing before, Jason himself hits up the meat first.]
As long as it's not human, I don't care. Not that I've eaten a person, just saying...

Okay, moon bear tastes pretty good then. Catching another bite on the fork he offered it over to Loki with a playful look.]
no subject
Mmm, needs more ketchup ...
[ Basic that he is, Loki requests some from a server. That taken care of, he starts carving his own meat and casually asks, ]
Jay, would you say we're on a date right now?
no subject
[ He calls after the server after Loki asked for ketchup. Going back to his own peice he nearly choked when Loki asked the question. After a second he took a breath.]
What? Why? [ His eyes a little wide. Internal freak out was a go.]
no subject
[ Sparing Jason a flat look, he continues eating. ]
Because I want to know if I'm any good on dates, that's why.
no subject
[ Jason gave him a flat look. He takes a breath then cards a hand through his hair before shrugging.]
I wouldn't call it a date, but it definitely is to other people. But, yeah, I'd say if we were an item you'd be good on dates, we always have fun when were out. Magical shoplifting, a dance club and now dinner in an exclusive place. Just my outings with you are pretty damn cool. So don't worry, your always a good time.
[ He stabs another bite of the meat. Still a little uncertain, feeling like he's missing some kind of que but his mind keep replaying Isabel's last words to him.]
no subject
What would you call it?
no subject
[ He suddenly feels as lame as Roy saying that as he sits back and puts a hand over his face like he's getting a headache.]
I don't know, I haven't really thought about it. What do you call it?
no subject
Friends works for me, too.
no subject
[ He spoke reaching over to snag a wedge.]
Oh, I decided I'm going to quit my job soon. [ He spoke figuring it was better to slip away from that.]
no subject
What will you do instead?
no subject
[ He explained between bites.]
Either that or I'll actually put in the paperwork for that promotion I turned down when I first came in.
no subject
[ Like a Norse sugar daddy, oof. ]
no subject
[ he was kidding mostly.]

no subject
[ He made an amused noise, and shrugged.] True, but we did before, and we can again someday.
[ He offered a hand over then.] If your my benefactor, then anytime you need something I can do you have to call. Deal?
no subject
[ He takes Jason's hand and kisses it, going back to his meal. ]
You want me to go out on the town with you?
no subject
He went back to working on his food and nodded.]
Of course, think of the fun we could get up to, jumping rooftops and kicking the shit out of drug dealers.
