Memory 01
Another boy appears with spectacles and messy black hair. Draco looks over, gaining an almost smug demeanor.
"Hullo," he said, "Hogwarts too?"
"Yes," the boy said.
"My father’s next door buying my books and mother’s up the street looking at wands," Draco went on. Excited despite his bored tone. "Then I’m going to drag them off to look at racing brooms. I don’t see why first-years can’t have their own. I think I’ll bully father into getting me one and I’ll smuggle it in somehow. Have you got your own broom?" Draco ended his rambling with a question. Unable to stop his excitement from spilling over, having him forget his manners.
"No," the raven-haired boy responded with.
"Play Quidditch at all?" Draco continued his questioning.
"‘No."
"I do – Father says it’s a crime if I’m not picked to play for my house, and I must say, I agree. Know what house you’ll be in yet?"
"No."
"Well, no one really knows until they get there, do they, but I know I’ll be in Slytherin, all our family have been – imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I’d leave, wouldn’t you?" Oblivious of the other boy's discomfort.
"Mmm."
"I say, look at that man!" Draco pointed to the window, outside of which stood a very large bearded man that look rugged and rather wild.
"That’s Hagrid," the boy said after looking as well. "He works at Hogwarts."
"Oh, I’ve heard of him. He’s a sort of servant, isn’t he?"
"He’s the gamekeeper," the boy replied with.
"Yes, exactly. I heard he’s a sort of savage – lives in a hut in the school grounds and every now and then he gets drunk, tries to do magic and ends up setting fire to his bed."
"I think he’s brilliant." The boy's demeanor clearly changes, getting a bit frosty in his reply.
"Do you?" Draco asked, sneering in response to the tone the other boy used. "Why is he with you? Where are your parents?"
"They’re dead."
"Oh, sorry." Draco didn't know what to say with that and quickly came up with something, the first thing he could think of to say. "But they were our kind, weren’t they?"
"They were a witch and wizard, if that’s what you mean."
"I really don’t think they should let the other sort in, do you? They’re just not the same, they’ve never been brought up to know our ways. Some of them have never even heard of Hogwarts until they get the letter, imagine. I think they should keep it in the old wizarding families. What’s your surname, anyway?"
Before the boy could reply Madam Malkin spoke up. "That’s you done, my dear."
The boy jumped down eagerly from his stool. "Well, I’ll see you at Hogwarts, I suppose." And he was gone.
Draco looked after the boy a moment and gave a shrug. Soon he was done himself.
Memory 02
"Look, mother, a dragon!" the young boy says.
"Oh, look at that, it is. What about that one, Draco. Can you tell me what it is?" She asks in a soft, light tone of voice.
The toddler's face screws up as he stares up at the fluffy clouds very hard. "Unicorn!"
"Yes, that's right." The woman claps her hands. "You're such a smart boy."
Little Draco smiles proudly. Off around a bush a little green being can be seen motioning in the air. Seemingly the cause behind the clouds above forming into magical creatures.

Memory 03
Draco grips his forearms so tightly his knuckles turn white. His teeth gritting as he moves to the sink. Releasing his arm only to brace his hands on the edges of the sink. Leaning forward as his breathing starts to come a little raggedly. His eyes closing. Clutching the sink like a lifeline as his emotions swell within like a wave about to capsize a sailboat.
Draco & Nico: Potion Talk
Draco was sitting on a bench with a nice view of the water, a cup of hot tea in his hand. A poor substitute for what he was used to, but he had to deal. So he sat there, waiting. Ankle resting on his knee as he waited. Just watching the people milling about.
When he saw the other guy approaching Draco rose up and held out his hand. "Hello, Nico. Hope you don't mind talking out here."

Looking Through The Glass | Draco & Marinette
There was no particular need for him to purchase anything at this point. Yet here he was in the area with the most shops with their wares on display. His pace was leisurely, in no great hurry. Just taking in the day, the atmosphere, the people around him and the displays in the windows. Some changes were made, some remained the same. He had a nostalgic moment remembering walking down Diagon Alley, before the height of the War.
He paused at a window where a teen girl with black hair lingered. He glanced into the window to see what was displayed there. Not anything he had a particular interest in, but regardless... Good economy was key in the happiness of the society and culture of the city.
"I see they changed the display," he said in an off-handed comment. "Their good are of an excellent quality." He looked toward the girl as he said that, giving her a brief friendly smile.
