The speed with which both ideas are presented to her makes her chuckle. She holds up her hand in the universal gesture to wait just a moment, then turns her back to him and powers down her suit entirely on the internal control panel before zipping back up and turning ot face him once more. This way she won't risk frying his phone. "All right, let's see what you're working with," she says, hand outstretched.

"So you use it to talk and type? That's all you've been doing with it?" Oh yeah, he was seriously under-utilizing his device. Natasha took the phone, and headed around to the back of the truck, dropping the tailgate and hopping up to sit on it. "Come on," she encouraged him, patting the space next to her. "Smart phone crash course." They still had a fair bit of time before they had to leave, and he was going to have to learn how to use it eventually. "What you've got here, is a tiny computer, which I'm guessing you're also not familiar with. We can fix that."

Natasha just shakes her head. "Privacy settings will take care of that. If people don't want you to see something, they won't give you access. The way I couldn't just go into your device from mine and find the files? Something like that." She hasn't actually tried to hack any of the devices here yet. Still, even if that's something that works, it won't make his introduction to this any less confusing, so she doesn't mention it.

It doesn't take her long to find said files, and when she does, she shows him the screen so he can see what she's doing. "See here? This is what you wanted to send to us, right?" She goes through the motions of forwarding the files to her own username, moving slowly, talking him through each step as she does it. "...and then you hit send, and... off it goes." Her own device pings, and she pulls it out of her belt to show him that it's notifying her of a new message.

"How important is it to you that you understand the principle? I could explain it to you, but it would take a lot more time than we have this morning, and you probably still wouldn't get it. Most people don't know how their phones work, they just know that they do. It's a complicated field."

Even for those who are intelligent in other areas, it's a complicated field. It's not judgement on her part, just an understanding of how a mind has to be able to think in order to truly understand what makes smart phones and tablets work the way they do, and that's in a world where magic doesn't come into play. "I can teach you how to use all of the features without also teaching you what makes them work, but that might also take more time than we have right now. You'd be amazed what these things are capable of."
