who: Sam, Wanda, & Steve (MCU)
what: moving day!
when: sometime after the beginning of October
where: Sam and Wanda's townhouse (now Sam and Wanda and Steve's townhouse)
warnings: none
After some deliberation, Sam and Wanda had extended an invitation to Steve to move into the spare room in their house, and Steve, glad to get out of the communal housing, had accepted. Steve didn't have a whole lot to move, and the room was already furnished, so there wasn't too much work involved - and between Steve's muscles and Wanda's powers, what little work there was happened to be trivial. They'd already relocated the mice (and their house) and cleaned the room a few days earlier, with the aid of one of Tony's souped-up roombas.
Now Steve was getting his own belongings moved in and arranged - and once everything had been carried up to the room, Sam vanished down to the kitchen for a few minutes. When he returned, he had a plate of apple blondies and a carton of milk on a tray with three glasses.
He set the tray down on a small table and started pouring milk, passing glasses to the other two first before taking one for himself, and handing the plate around. "I think you just didn't wanna have to feed yourself anymore," he teased Steve with a grin. It wasn't as if they were short on food around here, after all.

"You know how much I eat. It's really a two person effort," Steve responded with a grin, taking the glass of milk to take a sip. "Thank you to both of you for letting me move in here." It'd offer a small sense of familiarity amidst so much unknown drifting all around them.
There was a small sense of pain about it considering he last lived with Bucky when sharing an actual space. Something the man didn't even remember most likely. Would he ever? "If either of you need anything let me know."

She's with friends, none of whom are going to look at her oddly for digging right in.
"I'll let you know, but we're in good shape for opening pickle jars and getting things off high shelves," she comments after swallowing her first bite. "I'm glad you're joining us. Having another person here will feel more like home..."
She pauses a beat.
"And the mice are certain to keep busy celebrating your move-in for a week, I think."

"At least it'll distract them from the roombas I got from Tony before he left." Sam grimaces, both because he's made better life choices (the mice have started racing, although they understand the Sacred Hours of Rest) and because he misses one of his close friends. Wherever Tony is now, Sam hopes he's all right.
