YIKES I completely lost track of this, I'm really sorry!
"An early bird, huh?" Approval and amusement both take residence in his tone and aren't likely to leave for a while yet. Nothing puts Gladiolus in a good mood like exercise or camping, the job couldn't be a better fit. However, dressed in casual pants and a black tank top with heavy boots, he looks more like he belongs behind the counter of some arms dealer shop.
Putting out a hand, Gladio greets Otabek. "I take it you're my oh-eight-hundred."
ALL IS WELL :D
"I am," Otabek says. He extends his arm and shakes Gladio's hand. Gladio seemed friendly, at least. He seemed like he was suitable for this job, at least. He's a big guy - probably a foot taller than him. Otabek's used to looking up at people to make eye contact, so he cranes his head upwards when he shakes Gladio's hand so that he can.
"I wanted to make sure I was on time." He wanted to make a good impression.

"Great, do you need some time to warm up?" Gladio waves him away from the busier area and leads him to his practice area - well, not really his so much as borrowed. Until someone kicks them out. He's only a contractor after all. This spot has been worn down by many feet, scrubbing the ground of any vegetation and packing down the soil until it was hard and lifeless. Might as well pave it. There's a rack with weights of all kinds, a dummy planted into the hard earth. In terms of practice areas, it's spartan to say the least. This is certainly no gym, but judging from the dull cracking sound, there's a shooting range not too far away.
"There's a few ways I like to get started - you could either tell me or show me you usual exercise routine. Showing me will give me a better idea of your fitness level. You can start by telling me what you do."

"I don't need to," Otabek notes. "I went on a run this morning." Which meant he stretched, as well, to prepare his body for the run. He follows Gladio towards the practice area. There's all sorts of equipment, many things he didn't use, or used rarely. He considered Gladio's question, eyeing the equipment.
He's quiet for a few moments, considering how detailed the other wants him to be. "I wake up early. Stretch." Nothing too intense, but enough to make his muscles feel warmer before he started running. "Go on a run. Usually five kilometers. Push-ups, sit-ups." He would consider himself fairly fit, even when standing next to someone considerably larger than himself. "My experience with some of the equipment is minimal," he admitted.
