She managed to close the link pretty fast, the feeling going away faster than normal. "I'll try not to but it isn't, like, an exact science. If I think too hard about someone it kinda just happens." Better did not mean mastery, all she'd managed was to be more aware of when it happened... even if she still had next to know sign herself she did it.

"I've mostly had trouble actually... getting the boots to jump so I've just been practicing by communal housing trying to land on the second floor balcony." Lola shrugged, by the water might be a good idea but she'd need to figure out how the boots handled water. "I still wish I knew where they came from. Cause... they were in a box with a label I clearly wrote, but nothing like this ever existed on my Earth. So... I don't know. It's weird. They're cute though."

"Well, work on mastering that. Maybe talk to a meta. Their pretty good about helping one another." He offered as he made a face. He hated people being in his head. He could accept Drucha but no one else really.

"are you doing it alone or do you have someone to catch you if... well when you fall." He asked a bit concerned cause thats still a bit of a drop for one not used to it. Though he lofted a brow at the mention of her own writing. "Cute kind of doesn't matter when your getting boxes in your own writing that you didn't send. That's weird, Lola."
